I can't really argue or add to that. Prob the best written article on here for a long long time. Agreed with everything.

Thanks for making the effort to write it. 5 stars..

Beating Stoke 5 - 0 and getting our revenge was a nice recent memory.

Been up to the Reebok to watch Forest a few times and the best I have seen us manage is a 0-0 draw! Has comfortable seats in the away end with decent facilities. The lack of a Normid superstore over half the away end is an improvement on Burnden Park!

The torrential horizontal rain after all three games I have been to wasn't as welcome, though...

Nice one, GG.
Loads of great memories from Burnden and the Reebok.
One of my favourite Reebok moments was Stelios heading in a late winner vs Arsenal. Mayhem!

Was going to say the Bolton Villa game, but in reality it was the Okocha Villa game. What a freekick!

GG - nicely summarised. Agree with all the above memories. I have to include the opening match at the stadium. Purely because of the fact it was my first visit. Unlike many, I thought the move was a good one and I watched the stadium being built from my bedroom window!!

Thrashing the Toon 5-1 is a fond memory....

Disappointed in the name change but that's the way of things these days...At my age most of my good memories go back to the Burnden days of the seventies.

The first Euro game v Plovdiv, Zenit in the rain, thrashing Leeds and Villa as mentioned, West Ham goal, weirdly the Blackpool game in the Prem where we came back to 2-2 with that Mark Davies goal

Others too, but I've to start work soon

The Holden goal against Blackburn when Big sam was still dancing around on the side of the pitch was perhaps the most satisfying.

Some great ones already mentioned, i agree about the FA Cup quarter final against Charlton, Andy Todd punching Stan Collymore and Jay Jays strike against villa.
But the end of the 2002-3 season was just brilliant with the games against Man City, West Ham, Arsenal, and Boro, great football, a great brawl ( the end of the west ham game), great individual skill ( JJ embarassing Pires and Parlour near the corner flag), tension, pride and a happy ending. I aged 10 years im sure but it was worth it at the time

Sat knight.....
Re cup against arsenal. I couldn't agree more cracking atmosphere. I'd bought several tickets for some work colleagues down from Glasgow.....and even they were impressed.

Just wish we could recreate that sort of atmosphere again.

Indeed. My girlfriend at the time rang me as extra time was starting and said it was awesome. She was also the reason I missed athletico Madrid at home so swings and roundabouts there.
