U21 PL Liverpool 0-1 Man Utd

You were on the brink of insolvency due to the fact you were absolutely desperate to sell your soul to the first sugar daddy that came calling. To a man Liverpool fans were happy to shelve tradition, history and everything else in exchange for a short cut back to the top. Whilst United fans vehemently opposed the takeover by our American overlords, you guys rolled out a red carpet for Hicks and Gillet. It was pathetic.

Well done.

Let's all make up a whole post of absolute lies and nonsense and state it as a fact.........

posted on 3/5/14

So you weren't happy when they took over? Your fanbase by and large weren't pleased about it? I remember very well how the majority (okay I exaggerated with the "to a man" bit) of you guys crowed when that takeover happened. They were welcomed with open arms

Then you should get yourself tested for dementia lad.......

posted on 3/5/14

So you didn't wanr them to take over??? Retrospect, eh?

posted on 3/5/14

Retrospect.

is that what you call it when someone writes a load of lies and búllshít and you don't agree with them.........

I am just looking at your trophy list. Is the list wrong, or is that really just one league cup in the last 8 years for the second biggest team in England?

=============================

No surely manu have won more than that in the last 8 years.

if Mr Paisley you think Liverpool are the biggest team in England then that makes them massive underachievers. Putting even Arsenal to shame.

Nope there's definitely no mention of 8 years in the post I replied to.
--------
????? really ??????

If you can't remember back 12 hrs then no wonder your memory of Hicks and Gilette being welcomed with open arms is a little hazy !

Aww bless you for trying.

But let's actually concentrate on what was said and not on a load of other stuff that you hope will let you look like less of a thick twát.

You posted...

"if Mr Paisley you think Liverpool are the biggest team in England then that makes them massive underachievers. Putting even Arsenal to shame."

And then I replied to THAT comment...

"If by massive underachievers you mean we have won more major trophies than any other team in this country then yes we are........"

Do you see the direct correlation between your comment and mine?

Do you see how your 'if Mr Paisley you think Liverpool are the biggest team in England then that makes them massive underachievers.' nonsense makes no reference to the last 8 years.

I wrote it very slowly to try and help you out.

You see I have a very good memory of both the last 12 hours AND of when the yanks bought the club.........Unfortunately for you.

So I can read your comments in the full knowledge of how much cráp you are talking...

go back one post further , goldfish memory

it was YOU that mentioned the 8 years !

"No surely manu have won more than that in the last 8 years."

so yes MASSIVE underachievers in those 8 years, if (which they aren't) Liverpool are the biggest team. Maybe you don't understand the concept of a thread , how one comment relates to the previous one. Your mind can only compute one comment at a time. And in case you didnt see it, have a look at all these Liverpool fans bearing their butt cheeks for Hicks and Gillette http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/606/F6533009?thread=3864449&show=50

This takeover can only be a good thing. I'm pleased that both Gillett and Hicks seem to appreciate the history of the club.

Nail on the head Jez. Obviously actions speak louder than words, but they're hitting the right notes at the moment.

Retaining Moores and Parry's involvement was a very important step into re-assuring fans that they are keen to retain our principles and history.

posted on 3/5/14

After the apprehension of last week's withdrawal by DIC, the speed that this deal has come together along with encouraging soundbites from all parties has to be seen as being extremely positive for the club.

Moores and the new buyers are both in agreement that money will be in place to expand the support base (one key area this club has fallen behind the likes of Man U and Chelsea), build a new stadium (essential in increasing revenue) and secure a substantial transfer budget for the club.

This is surely the news every Liverpool supporter wants to hear and is looks like finally, Liverpool FC may be starting the journey back to the top of English football.

This is not a good day for Chelsea, Man U and Arsenal as the biggest team in the country is on it's way back to reclaim it's title.

COMEDY GOLD

and there's more :

I've just listened to George Gillett and Tom Hicks at the press conference, and I clearly believe that these are the men to take liverpool forward! With providing Rafa with funds, we can re-establish ourselves as the super-power we once were.

Oh dear !!!

I'll try again one last time for you son

You posted...

"if Mr Paisley you think Liverpool are the biggest team in England then that makes them massive underachievers. Putting even Arsenal to shame."

Now take a deep breath and try to take this in.

It was in that comment where you said 'that makes them massive underachievers'.

Read the comment again. Have you got it?

And then I replied to """THAT""" comment...

"If by massive underachievers you mean we have won more major trophies than any other team in this country then yes we are........"

Do you see how I repeated the 'massive underachievers ' comment to make it totally clear to anybody but a crétin which comment I was replying to.

Have you got that?

Notice how these comments were in no way related to the earlier mention of 8 years.

Are we there yet?

posted on 3/5/14

jeez, it was in the context of the last 8 years. I give up if you are too thCK to understand , lets just leave it.

posted on 3/5/14

I gave up on you a long time ago sunshine.

You clearly don't have the intellectual capability to follow a conversation even.

Village idiot comes to mind when I see your moniker.

Now let's have a look at how you're trying to distort the comments on this old Thread to try and suit your argument...

posted on 3/5/14

So this was the comment you are now desperately trying to defend....

"You were on the brink of insolvency due to the fact you were absolutely desperate to sell your soul to the first sugar daddy that came calling. To a man Liverpool fans were happy to shelve tradition, history and everything else in exchange for a short cut back to the top. You actually quoted this???

"This takeover can only be a good thing. I'm pleased that both Gillett and Hicks seem to appreciate the history of the club."

It goes exactly against your " Liverpool fans were happy to shelve tradition, history and everything else " comment.

posted on 3/5/14

You quoted this (Are you trying to help me win the argument?)...

Funny how you didn't quote most of the posters like this one.....

"I think it does matter how you win titles and it matters if you have at least a core of local talent in your team and also the way you play and win.

If Liverpool were to uproot (like Wimbledon did) and stripped the team of local lads, but then started to win titles, would you still support them?

Liverpool is more than just a team.

The deal looks promising, but I'm keeping an open mind for the moment."

posted on 3/5/14

Or this one.....

"a bit wary as i guess all fans probably are at first. i think we needed the investment to keep up with the spending of chelsea and united in particular. fair enough we've spent a lot of money, but we haven't been able to get the big 20m plus signings that have helped united and chelsea get where they are.
i am worried for the premiership as a whole if deals like these continue. i feel sorry for clubs like bolton who work so hard on a much smaller budget. how can they expect to compete?"
