Well done lads and well done to the fans who went over, great support, all you could hear on my jittery stream was us lot. Bring on next week...KRO
fantastic result considering the missing players! Wood seemed a handful tonight hopefully he can work well with jerome when he is back from injury!
Looking forward to the return next week hopefully a few more players back from injury
Another well done from me.
I loved the song the Blues fans were singing.
"Don't wanna go home
Don't wanna go hoooooommme
This is the best trip I've ever been on"
You did us proud.
The big plus is we keep a clean sheet and looks like we could do the same at home, its just a case of getting goals that will see us through to the Group Stages and then more garunteed games in Europe.

Banjo,
agree that we looked pretty solid at the back and when Nacional did manage a shot it was pretty woeful.
I thought Wood did well tonight and had he had someone playing off him (Beausejour?) we could have got a couple.
Can't wait for next week and well done to those brilliant Blues fans who made the trip.

Great result after 49 years absence. Well done Chris & the boys.
Funniest comment I heard last night was on the BBC blog, Chris Woods hit the post again, I bet he's wishing that his name was Chris Net.
Oh well perhaps you had to be at a noisy gig trying to keep pace with your team eh? lol.
Highlights of last night found on BCFC Forum. This is CD Nacional's site.

Like Myhill in RED, hope he dumps that awful green.
anyone know what formation we played? Can't work out who played in CM
It looked to me to be a 4,3,3 that changed to a 4,2,3,1
At times it looked like Spector and Ridgewell was holding with Burke and Redmond on wings and Beausajour running through the middle 4,2,3,1
At other times it seemed that we ended up seing Burke, Spector and Ridgewell as a 3 man midfield with Redmond and Beausajour on the wings.
I think we tried to attack, and played well only concern for me was Ridgewell did not look that comfortable with the ball and lost it often but gave 100% trying to win it back, i guess its a new role he is not used to. Spector also gave it away a little, but again both guys are not our and our midfield players whos job is to keep the ball and pass it about. They both did well at breaking up the play.

Great 25 minutes of the game on Blues PLayer now. Good quality.
