"he thinks anyone can do the job...hence why he handed the keys to an amateur with a big trap"
Given the Timmy stats are effectively the same as AVBs' this season, he appears to be vindicated.
<any decent manager can get 4th with that squad>

Sherwood only vindicates that the UEFA Pro License exists for a reason and that managers should learn their trade in the lower leagues before being given a PL job.
The real story of this season is United, their Fergie hangover has just about kept us in Europe.
Levy's not going to change, he's apparently set the bar at attractive football as well as the usual fourth place.. it's going to be a big ask for any manager and I expect even our first choice will only get a season's grace.
Harry was let go after getting frustrated with Levy, AVB left by mutual consent after being told to play Ade, and no doubt Tim was told to give Sandro a game.. he's acting like a little Roman and it's getting us nowhere.

As I have repeatedly said, Arry set that bar.
And ironically it partly cost him his job.
Who set the bar is not important, it's whether Levy's latest best guess at manager gets enough time to achieve it.

No, the question is whether the bar has been set too high since 2010 with the squads to hand. If so, it is going to take a very "decent" manager indeed to go whether Levy thinks the team should be going on-pitch.

It's not too high in the long term, we can all see that we only need 2 or 3 players and we'll have strength, depth, and a lot of potential to be unleashed. It's been a learning curve for Rodgers but he's got there because they picked their man and gave him time.
