Don't let the b'stards get you down mate, stick with it
I suppose I'd better step forward at this early stage. I'll be shot down in flames in some quarters no doubt, but I'm ready to face the firing squad.
You've provided some really good posts BS. It's a shame many have turned into a free-for-all of late. Basically, don't go but perhaps 'tone things down' a little.
BS - the more posters on this forum with different views the better. It's creates debate, and that's what we're here for. For this reason alone I'd like you to stay.
The only time I get upset on this forum are when people are personal. Other than that of course we will all disagree - it is listening to everyone else view points that make us more rounded fans, and our own beliefs more educated.
As people have suggested BS, if you can find a way to react less emotionally when others disagree, then you might have a more enjoyable time here. But if you can't then fine, I still welcome your contributions.
I don't think anyone has suggested you leave and considering only a few people have posted in the last few days it can hardly be called a consensus if they have.
Your one man match day threads are brilliant, it's great fun later to work out where your posts were in relation to the happenings in the match.
It's like reading a match review in shorthand < laugh>
Maybe give it a couple of days to chill and reflect that We ARE the Champions but no need to leave.
Yeah thanks guys, maybe I'll pop up next season after things have calmed down a bit on here who knows. Wanted to give not 606 a try, not sure what that's like
I enjoy some good old banter, I don't view it as personal, but I'm always going to be the type of person that gets riled up listening to the moaning leicester fans on the post match phone in and those kind of fans have been on this board a lot.
When I have a pop back, the argument escalates and then Trish comes running in like an online dinner lady screaming 'leave people alone!!!'
It just gets a bit boring and it's a cycle that's been going on for the last year which isn't helped by the fact that certain posters here drive me mad.
Nice to here from a Tottenham fan on this thread. Cringe is exactly what I was doing when Levy appointed AVB and blew £100m Bale money on dross <wink>
BS
As far as I'm aware, no one wants you to leave.
Personally, I find your articles are usually well informed and articulate. I just didn't think you needed to pursue Nev in the way you did, when you'd made your point very clearly with your first post on that thread.
There will always be people who irritate, but there's no point in a forum where everyone agrees with each other all the time. As for moaning, some people are glass half full, others half empty. It takes all sorts, which is what makes this such a great forum.
Who said go ?
But please don't give it out if you can't take whats Trish ever done to you.
You have much right to be here as any of use do but dont get personal is the clue.
Ok points taken. I guess where I differ is that I don't view taking the mick out of someone's spelling as personal. That to me is forum banter, I don't know Nev, so something personal would be a comment about his personal life. If he indicated at any stage that he was upset and it was getting to him I would have stopped.
Trish hasn't done anything to me Nev except jump in to a debate and take offence on behalf of someone else, that's quite a lot of that here.
As for yourself Nev, I think you like to use the devils advocate thing to get away with posting antagonising threads sometimes. You don't play devils advocate, you tend to make sweeping statements, continually pick on poor old Kasper and call fans Richard Heads for a variety of reasons. I don't find that thought provoking debate, and because it annoys me I react.
The way I react is ok for the Forest board, but not really here and I accept that. It's for the best that I give it a long old break and try another forum, all the best to you guys

Isn't calling people Richard heads and morons based on whereabouts in the ground they are considered getting personal?
Thats a group collective if someone came on this board and said i ran on the pitch i would ask them why but not give them personal abuse.
As for poor old kasper he is asking for over 30k a week and does not even know i exist so how am i hurting him.
As for its ok for the forest board whats that got to do with the price of tea in China you are one of our own.
BS, apologise for the late response.
Nobody has asked you to leave the forum (I was in jest when I said go to derby), as others have said maybe just tone the personal side down, or want for a better word, the attitude.
Il keep on supporting Pearson as I have always done but il stop short of getting personal with people who disagree with me and perhaps you don't meAn to but that's the way it can come across sometimes.
Why not stay and stick to footballing arguments?!
"As for poor old kasper he is asking for over 30k a week and does not even know i exist so how am i hurting him."
Is this fact or just a NEV factoid?
TB radio Leicester football corespondent i like the Nev Factoid do you mind if i use it.
Glory glory Blackstar.........wow, glorify the chosen one!
What is this? Please accept my humble comments but please please please love me. Wow....and today we are looking through the round window.
"i like the Nev Factoid do you mind if i use it."
Of course you can Nev as long as you understand the meaning is "unsubstantiated BS to make Nev's point" rather than an actual fact.
Welcome back Lcfc69, haven't heard from you since you wanted Pearson sacked NOW and replaced with DiCanio have we?
You alright, BlackStarr? What's prompted this all of a sudden?
Really BS? I've always thought you were one of the good guys. I don't always agree with you, but you're points are well reasoned. If you want intelligent debate you'll soon be back if Not606 is your alternative. If it's wummery you want then you are indeed better off there.
Good luck whatever you decide.

You're? I'm happy for you to correct such dreadful grammar!
Come here BS you cheeky lil scamp
BS, believe it or not I can actually sympathise with how you're feeling. This forum does have a tendancy to irritate you if you are arguing with people every day, and I find that a while away from the forum (whilst still browsing but not posting) is a good way to deal with it.
One thing I would say, however, is that if you are expecting a football forum to be 100% positive, 100% of the time, then you will always be left disappointed. The very nature of a football forum is that it will have people of various different opinions, philosophies, etc, and that's what makes forums interesting. A forum where everybody agreed would be pretty dull and wouldn't really be a forum at all. I would suggest that, if you want a place where all content is positive, find an appreciation fanpage or Facebook appreciation page, and if there isn't any out there, make one yourself.
As for Nev's points about KS, whilst I disagree with Nev's opinion about needing a new goalkeeper, I do think he makes very valid points about the weaknesses in his game that are clearly apparent. Kasper isn't the finished article, he wouldn't be at Leicester if he was - same with all of our players. I'm sure Kasper himself knows he must improve certain areas of his game.
I think the whole Pro NP vs Pro Sven will die down now - at the end of the day, Sven supporters like myself cannot prove that he would have eventually got it right, the same as those who dislike Sven can't prove that he wouldn't. Pretty much all of the fanbase now supports NP, but I would like to think most of it accepts that he will need to show continued improvement at PL level next season to stay in his job. For the record, providing we are competitive and showing signs of improvement, I'm happy to see NP stay the season. If come Christmas we are bottom with 5 points, well I may well change my mind, as I'm sure will many others.
BS - not sure where you've got the idea about a 'general consensus' - not something I'd agree with. In fact quite the opposite for me, I welcome all views - that's what makes this forum enjoyable. Wouldn't it be boring if we all thought exactly the same?
So in short -stay and keep on contributing is my message.
Stuff it BS, I think I'll join you - Not keen on this place at the moment
