"If City and Chelsea had 15 games between that period, I can absolutely guarantee you that they would have played them all."
Have you got any facts at all, or are you just personally guaranteeing everything?
For example, only 2 players of Man City have played more than 30 league games this season. Only another 3 have played more than 25 - so it's not really lending to your idea that no rotation takes place?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Have those been due to rotation or is it due to injuries? Who are those players BTW. I am pretty sure that they are the players who have been most injury free for them. Zabaleta and Dzeko am guessing?

"City used to spank teams at the beginning of the season didn't they?"
More towards the middle I think.
To me, you cannot blame our injuries on bad luck. Even Wenger says they are investigating what is going on.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
No one is saying it is on bad luck but to say it is just because of not rotating is waaay too simplistic and it is from wanting to lay down the blame somewhere rather than actually getting to the bottom of things.
We have Cazorla, Wilshere, Ramsey, Arteta, Flamini, Chamberlain, Rosicky, Diaby, Ozil who can all play Ramsey's position.
So can anyone tell me why Rambo had to play pretty much every single game?
Wenger just doesnt rotate for some reason and it really pees me off.
They only posistion that gets rotated it the LB and that only becuase gibbs gets injured all the time. Y hasnt Jenkinson hardly started this season? If we was to start a game and play badly people would give him loads of stick but forget that he hasnt played in months.
Why cant he come off the bench for the last 20 or so mins or start the odd home game?
Why does the likes of Ozil & Ramsey player every minuite ffs? Ozil at real would be taken off after 75 mins yet Wenger deems him ready to play 90mins 2/3 times per week.
Put him on the bench somes games and bring him on if needed.
Wenger stick to the same 13/14 players and when injuries happen everyone moans.
So can anyone tell me why Rambo had to play pretty much every single game?

Because he was our best player perhaps?

So 3-0 up against Fenerbache in the first leg away from home, and we really needed our best player for the return leg?
Spot on Boss.
Add to that, we have some ridiculously stupid squad slots taken up by the likes of Diaby, who Wenger treats as a member of the playing staff for some reason.
Media do hold Arsenal in special light. I guess they expect us to be the best in the world. Can't blame them. I expect the same.
ah Chris
You don't really want to accept this could be due to other factors rather than just lack of rotating do you? Your close mindedness makes just makes this a pointless discussion really. You haven't even bothered with the late/early substitution angle really.
Also, City spanked everyone at the beginning of the season at home. In the middle, the Etihad wasn't really a scary place to visit as during the first 3/4 months of the season.
Again, just wanting to lay blame on someone's lap rather than actually getting to the possible reasons for our injury list.
back in 2 mins Wump, just on a con call
Chris - you're talking about the sixth game of the season!!! Why shouldn't he play then!
Can't really compare the playing time of a player like Ramsey, who often covers more ground than any other Premiership player, to that of Toure - who whilst being a great player is often accused of being lazy - and Hazard - who thinks tracking back is beneath him.
Added to that, both players play in teams that are more often than not in a lot more comfortable positions after 60-70mins during matches than Ramsey is afforded with Arsenal.
How many times was Rambo subbed off early before his inevitable injury kicked in? An injury we could all see coming a mile off, btw...
I actually agree Ramsey was mismanaged btw. The only game I was the match Vs Hull at home. There really was no reason for him to play that game and I was absolutely furious he played from the start in that game. Miss that game and he would have had a solid 14 days rest which I am pretty sure would gone a long way to prevent his inevitable injury.

Wenger mismanaged Ramsey and Ozil BADLY!!!!
It's as clear as day that managing players coming back from injury is a very real problem that's had inevitably disastrous consequences!
I'm not an expert, far from it. But Ramsey & Chamberlain are two great examples of this (there are others).
The worrying thing? NONE of these 'setbacks' are 'impact-injuries', they're 'muscular' (allegedly)!
As most of you touch on, this isn't a case of being a one-off, it's almost a perpetual dynamic. It just so happens that when Arsenal were in a wonderful position to at the very least mount a full on assault on the League Title, key players got injured, at key times, for lengthy periods...
I won't be so patronising to elaborate on that.
Its all about rotation for me. We should have done more.
Vermealen hardly played until Kos/Per got Injured. Y not let his start a few games to keep everyone fresh?
Jenkinson - Probalby made less than 5 PL starts this season Not Good Enough.
Bendtner - Guys is a nnob but why he can play a role. scored a couple of vital goals and then never to be seen again.
Walcott - Got a knock against spurs 5 mins before he got injured however as Wenger had already brought on Ozil (for some daft reason) despite being 2up already we could take him off and he got injured.
Ramsey we have plenty pf players who could have covered a game or 2 or even just left him on the bench.
