I reckon we've got a more improved chance of getting to the group stages now. Have you seen the teams in the play-off round for Europa League? Much harder than Champions route qualifying for Champions League in my opinion. I'm not making excuses already but just think its poorly set up.

they had that great european run last year

what was it 2 magnificent home wins?

in the real world it was two pumpings they took

they were 4-0 down to Braga at Parkhead and needed 5

they got 2 consolation goals and thought they had won a trophy

at least they give us a lot of laughs

check it out, doesn't looks good for us.

there's the losing teams from champions league 3rd round to join too though. So you could be joining us.

scroll down to play-off round section, looks tough.

yeah i see it, there are even some decent teams in the 3rd QR. so even if you are seeded for the last QR, you could still end up playing a decent team.

Still look on the bright side no Utrecht this
time. You might get one of those 'easy'
teams dropping out of the Champions
League.

the europe qualifyinf is tougher than what we could get in the 3rd cl qualifying

we could end up getting one of these
Winners of match involving Bulgaria Litex Lovech
Belgium Genk
Winners of match involving Slovakia Slovan Bratislava
Winners of match involving Czech Republic Viktoria Plzeƈ
Winners of match involving Slovenia Maribor
Winners of match involving Finland HJK Helsinki
Winners of match involving Lithuania Ekranas
Winners of match involving Georgia (country) Zestafoni
Winners of match involving Sweden Malmö FF
Winners of match involving Republic of Ireland Shamrock Rovers

if any of these 10 teams does not get through to the 3rd round then we will play the unseeded team who beat them in the 2nd qualifying rd meaning it would be even easier

genk are already through to the 3rd round

no matches are easy in qualifying though, I'm one of the few Celtic fans who wants to see Rangers do well in Europe. But not too well.

Neil Lennon must have won about as many games in Europe last season as Walter has done over the past three years.

Can't be much in it.

Kaunas and they still never learn

Haha! Remember these Rangers fans and how do-able their apparently easy Champions League group of Sevilla, Stuttgart and *dum dum dum* Unirea.

There was much rejoicing.

2 hours later, plenty of deflections and no answers to my 1st question

Are you aiming for 1st this year, or would you settle for another in 2nd?

posted on 6/6/11

1st because after throwing it away this year,we must win it this year.

Happy now moron?

Looks like CapBhoy is a little testy eh? Doesn't like hard questions I guess.

Anyway, I'm sure he and his fellow brethren will be once again looking to Celtic to have the league wrapped up by Christmas like they did the past three seasons.

You'd have have thunk they'd would learnt their lesson by now......their idiotic expectations play right into Rangers hands....might just be a thought too far for most of them though!

'number seven'....

Trying to create another 'myth' eh Timmy? Haven't heard or seen too many bluenoses predicting 'disaster' for Celtic. I think you're the one who's running scared and you're the ones making all the predictions.

The league will be tight again. but the tighter it is, the more your lot seem to act like 'chokers'....so perhaps it would be better if Lennon and his squad could have the league all "wrapped up by Christmas"...just like the last three seasons!

Good luck with that pal!
