Said for years we need it, it would also provide good crowds for other clubs as more people will turn out for a Celtic B team than a Stranrar etc
the English are against it btw and i doubt it will go ahead

I am sure the teams in League 1 and 2 in Scotland would welcome their league being dominated by 2 old firm teams like we see in the Premiership. League 1 could have Celtic and Rangers B teams, with neither being allowed to progress to the Championship, and League 2 could have Celtic and Rangers C teams with neither being allowed to progress to League 1. Why not let Rangers and Celtic D teams do my wife while I sit and watch? Sounds like a great plan.
A lot of the smaller league clubs in England rely on the loans from bigger clubs so I can understand why they will be against it as they will be worried of loosing this.

Have Rangers not already put a wee team in the lower leagues

How much?
Its a nonsense, it does nothing too address technical development at youth level which is the crux of the problem. Plying kids into league matches against grown men at lower level will do nothing to improve their development. A combination of redevelopment of the game at youth level (emphasis on techncial skills vs winning at all costs mentality) and FFP whereby the big clubs dont hoard all the best youth players is the way forward.
Celtic should ask to enter a "B-team" in this new English thingy. Start in League 3 and work your way up to League 1 to show that Celtic could make it in the higher English leagues.
