No whining going on here Forza.
Just wonder how/if their view would change in an objective situation.

Providing we finish first, I'm sure we'd all be ok with it.

I would love westham to win tomorrow
Just to see the melt down on here

Would you love it enough to put the month's wages on it? Won't happen bar a silly sending off or two for City and an abysmal refereeing performances

No danger of getting that dumped on us, Giggsy even had the good sense to allow us to get beat by Sunderland after Spurs very craftily went and got beat by West Ham
Taking a team from 7th to 2nd in the space of a season is a success to be greatly recognised. It is an over achievement of the highest order and should be lauded by every pundit, journalist and football supporting 'neutral' in the country. Any manager capable of delivering such a feat should be named manager of the season.

by the same token taking a team from 1st to 7th in the same period must be miss management of the highest order.
Thanks Dave, you idiot.
This is why Rodgers still deserves MOTS for me, in spite of Liverpool's recent dip. Doing what they have done is pretty much unheard of. As a Spurs fan it's made me believe we can go from midtable to being in a title race the year after, which I never thought was possible for our club.
There will be no repeat of QPR. They were still technically playing for survival and it was only other results that kept them up. West Ham have nothing to play for and probably have half an eye on Dubai or wherever footballers go in the summer. No contest
Personally I'd give whoever huge credit for reinvigorating Utd.
The difference of course is that you are the current champions and have arguably underperformed this year. We've been off the pace for a few years. Sadly last year was not a blip for us.
We sat in 7th for longer then a year btw . So I think its a bit different . We Challenged for the title in 09 and then sat in 5-7th for 4 years or so.

I will be enormously surprised if Liverpool manage to maintain it next season. City, United and Chelsea will all be stronger, whilst I don't think Liverpool will be able to compete with those three in the transfer market. Liverpool cant offer the wages and are no more an attractive proposition than City, Chelsea or even United without CL football. They never exactly signed top players when they were in the competition. I think they'll be competing with taking 4th from Arsenal next season. Especially if Wenger leaves for Monaco.
So from what I gathered from your post French, you think United will be top three, there or there abouts next season?

And that's the difference. Us getting 2nd next season would be an achievement but it's not comparable.
