Yeah I rated him also but he just couldn't seem to get a chance under Davies especially with Earnshaw and Blackstock being a good partnership at the time yet another striker we had that Couldn't produce for us and has gone on to score goals elsewhere
Good morning to you RedDogs. Will you be cheering on the Rams today. Just like you did on thursday
Was my favourite player at Forest and I genuinely believe he was very underrated for us. He was the 2nd top goalscorer for us after Earnie in the year we survived in and scored some brilliant goals (see the Southampton goal for example.) However that was the only season he really got a chance as for some reason he was then played on the wing by Billy which I did not get.
Great player and another great by him IMO <Ok>
I thought he was bloody awful, and was pleased when we got rid. He was gash at Watford too. L1 is evidently his level.

I will be, in a fashion! Though I'm still not sure if I want you to win the final to stick with my belief that 3rd place should win the playoffs, or lose in the final because, well, you're Derby.
I'm torn I tell you!
Hoons is right. League one is his level. I can't see him scoring 24 for us in the Championship
Billy played him on the wing because Billy is an idiot.
I thought he was sold too soon. Had a great year and got into double figures the year Davies saved Forest from the drop. Scored that decisive second goal against Brizzle City at the CG that brought Forest back from the dead so will always have my respect.
He has now bulked up and looks the part for me. Davies insisted on playing him wide and persevering with McGoldrick in the middle. Killed his confidence. I know he had a lean time at Watford too but always thought he had a bit about him and he appears to be flourishing under Grayson. Has been doing a pretty embarrassing goal celebration this season, though.
However, Rotherham are my in laws team, though, so I am hoping that we don't get to see Garner at the CG next season with PNE...
I quite liked Garner and though he was a decent prospect for the team, it just seemed he fell out of favour here and it never really got going for him at Watford either. His main negative was his discipline and it used to be a running joke to guess how long it would be before he was booked. Usually he was fouled, went on and on about it to the ref and then kicked someone with the official near by. I think it was Calderwood how joked about his intelligence after his wonder goal against Southampton.
The main reason we let him go though was that I got his name on the back of my shirt
Could have been worse Ray. I got his name on the back of my shirt again, the day before he was sold!
Mine wasn't too bad to be honest as I think I got it the previous season, plus I still don't mind wearing it as per my "Lester" shirt. The "Tyson" one is for around the house............
I've given up with the names now, last shirt I had just had a number 3 on it
