That's very kind of you to offer
You're welcome. Bit strapped at the minute though.
I know you have tried to relocate, but we had to knock our old Cheadle End down after Bradford (rightly so) as would couldn't get a safety certificate.
Horrible thing to happen.
But I am sure if the ground was unsafe then it wouldn't be given a safety certificate.
Would love for goodison to be revamped/renovated but the location and footprint of the ground makes it nearly impossible. The club never went buying houses and running down the area as Liverpool have....plus we couldn't afford it either
I wrote an article after the back-end of the Kirkby move called Quo Vadis Goodison. The gist was about our need to up-grade the stadium - not a lot has happened since. Now we are talking about a new ground again - this time at Walton Hall Park. But the fact remains, Goodison is in need of massive renovation, or it will have safety issues. Need a billionaire! COYB!
The club cant afford to move based on current finances. To refurbish the ground now woupd reduce revenue as we will near selling out next season and if I understand sold more ST than last year
