Sakho is really hard work isn't he, if he was a really good player it wouldn't be a problem but that isn't the case.
I know understand that sudden burst of madness from him on the pitch though.
You can see why PSG stopped playing him when the money came in.
He's just not worth the hassle of constant injuries and odd behaviour.
On his day he's a top player but just not often enough.
Its actually sad how terrible our defence is. I mean Clyne is solid but not exactly worldclass.
The rest are just meh.
I think we will be better this season, Lovren has improved to a high standard and has his confidence back and Matip is a decent player. Clyne is class, the rest are average to poor.
Plenty of work to still be done before the end of the window, we could start by shifting the glaring misfits like Ilori and Wisdom.
I wouldnt be surprised if Matip & Klavan(sp) end up as our first choice CB partnership this season.
Im not entirely bought on Lovren...he had a decent few months but that final shows the Lovren we know is still there.
50 goals conceded last season, that needs to be trimmed to 40 if we are going to challenge this season.
