Been having a look through the wrestling board. It's been a while since a Red invasion.

Klopp reveals that Emre Can has been playing with a calf problem that has contributed to his lack of form.

Says he was pain free against Chelsea for the first time in a while.

Sell him!

I can see a summer of meltdown on here.

I reckon Klopp will only sign 3 or 4 players tops and the ITK's will determine our season over before it has begun.

I agree and I reckon two of them will be under 23 and require a bit of time

Easy to forget how young the squad is actually.

I think no summer tournament will really benefit us.

Talented young players get a proper rest for the first time in a while, on the back of a not too demanding season number of games wise.

Should start next season really fresh if they can stay injury free.

I don't think we will sign a centre back or a striker in the summer either, which will send even more people into meltdown.

I think we will sign a striker, but only if Studge goes, which is looking likely unless he somehow finds his form. We definitely need a consistent goal scoring striker, someone to sneak us a goal when we're struggling to break teams down.

Well we know from previous windows that Klopp wants a left back (Chilwell), central midfielder (Dahoud) and winger (Pulisic, Brandt, Draxler) so that's 3 positions I can imagine us trying to strengthen this summer.

As others have said we'll need another forward if Sturridge goes and ideally I'd like to see an upgrade on Lovren but I can't see it happening.

Also should add that I agree with Robbing's point that a number of those are likely to be young players with potential rather than players to slot into the first XI (e.g. understudy for Milner).

With sakho going I can see us getting a CB too unless gomez is seen as a suitable 3rd/4th choice..

But left back, CM and a winger will definitely be signings, and I for one will be happy for us to have a summer where there is less of a squad overhaul, each year new players need game time to settle, all the best PL squads in history were settled teams with minor changes made.

Year after year squad overhauls are getting us nowhere, a team needs time to gel and is better than the sum of its parts.

I'd say only a wide forward will definitely be a signing.

The rest is up in the air for me.

CM most important position for me, even if it is only back up. Currently got no back up at all unless you count Stewart and i'm not as he's barely a footballer. Lucas' contract up in the summer as well.
