Nah, Borini isn't leaving.

Can't imagine him going anywhere unless we did sign someone.

Happy with Ibe to Bolton.

Regular football near Liverpool so presumably can still train with us if we want too.

He is not going to get any football for us with Lallana and Markovic nearly fit.

Don't really understand the Balotelli hatred either. The bloke is a great player. Yes that is only 'on his day' but if anyone can sort him out to he a bit more consistent it's Rodgers.

He is still only 24 and if there is any truth is us going for him I wouldn't mind. Plenty worse out there we could sign.

Not sure Balotelli has the work ethic Brendan demands has he?
Do we need another media magnet?

30 in 54 games for a very poor Milan side (by their standards).

Has he done anything mental lately?

Neither Studge nor Coutinho were known for their work ethic either before they joined.

Balotelli needs to be back in the premier league, he is a character.

Our team would not be worse of with him, and for 15-20million being banded I think its good value.

He is married or getting married too.

Maybe that will change him and he will grow up a bit.

He could be our Cantona type psycho hero as we wrestle back the league title

Falcao > Balotelli > Cavani

At his current "mental" state he's still a 1 in 2 striker wherever he has played.

Imagine if we could sort him out.

balotellis good but hes just doesnt give 100%, could you imagine him charging around after the ball, maybe br could change that maybe not.

Has he played in teams that play that style though?

Man City don't play a high pressing game and under Mancini were even slower tempo than now.

It's really time Borini made a decision on his future this has been dragging on for too long.

I think we're keeping him until we signed a new striker or atleast have something concrete.

My thoughts exactly. Would actually love Balotelli : goals and fun galore!

We need a player who can create his own goals. A player who will chase down defenders and harass midfielders, a player who can lift his team when they are losing.

Mario can't be changed. He Is not the player we need. We need a team player.

10 year ago today we signed Alonso and Garcia

A rare bread of player T Bone. You just described Suarez.

posted on 20/8/14

Why can't he be changed?

He doesn't even need to change that much, he scores every two games already.

He has been sent off a few times in his career, big deal? He has never done anything too crazy on the pitch, not in the same league as Suarez in that regards.

Most of his antics are off the pitch, and many of them are exaggerated.

The media issue is not a big one, LFC are in the media every day anyway.

His off the pitch antics include fighting with Boateng and Yaya Toure on the training field.
