Yeah it's not a forgone conclusion that he'll perform...just my opinion that he will. He just has too much natural ability to not play good imo...even if he wanted to I believe it's just too instinctive for him to do the right things on the pitch.

I may well be wrong but time away from the pitch after the 1st will probably help as well.

Yes it'll cost us a little more, but we'll just have to pay it, that's the way the cards have been dealt it would appear. We can strengthen the squad with the money we'd get from the sale to be much stronger than we have now with 2 or 3 additions.

What happens then if we sell him and all the plan a's we want as a replacement wont be released by their clubs due to not having time to find replacements

Wonder how long the Emre contract situation will drag out for? We would need to get him signed up to a new contract sooner rather that later.

Also. if Saturday showed us anything, it's that we're crying out for a creative midfielder to spearhead our 3 in the middle. Coutinho is essential to it. I also wouldn't mind getting another bod in, seeing how Lallana is out for a while.

Wijnaldum needs to play himself into some form while we wait for Lallana to recover and Coutinho to sort his chit out.
