Immensely frustrating result...
Should have won the game comfortably but same old
case of being unable to finish it off before the inevitable sucker punch.
Having to score three goals a game again though to win the match as so often is the case with us, it's going to catch up with you.
Should still qualify if we replicate that performance but really feels like we have chucked it away tonight.
I think it's time to change up the front 6. It's been the same in every game so far and Arsenal game aside it's looking a little stale.
The midfield isn't fantastic, Wijnaldum had a great game tonight but Hendo is uninspiring and Can clearly has his head elsewhere and I think when teams play deep we lose a lot of what makes Salah and Mane effective.
I'd like to see Chamberlain (yes Cosmic bla bla bla), Sturridge and Coutinho come into the side for Salah, Mane and Henderson for a game just to mix things up a bit.

Just weren't clinical enough tonight at both ends of the pitch. They scored from both of their shots on target and we didn't capitalise when on top in the first half.
Half time came at the wrong time for us and Sevilla were excellent second half in my opinion, can't recall us having too many clear scoring opportunities in front of the Kop. They regrouped, rode their luck a bit and scored a decent goal.
Obviously would've preferred 3 points but we should still qualify from that group. Gomez impressed me despite the silly second yellow but Salah needs double training sessions on his right peg.

Stale? Oh my We created an endless stream of chances, we just weren't clinical enough. We had them on the back foot until the last 30 mins. You could argue that Klopp should have changed things earlier as he did, as I think we did run out of steam up front, but to suggest we were 'stale' is ridiculous.
Another disappointing morning as a Liverpool fan!
Couple more days and we do it again v Burnley. At least we should see Coutinho back in the side even if he looked out of form yesterday.
The wrist slitters are out in full force elsewhere this morning. Especially those who only ever appear on the site when we don't win. Half expecting to see a comment from Wishi at any moment.
