Sterling has miles better stats in a harder league for a worse team and has been getting abuse.

Markovic has barely been played in his real position this season, deserves a bigger chance next season, he impressed in some games.

I would PRESUME that markovic will be given some chance in the europa in this regard... and will prove to be vastly over priced there too.

Tearing up the leagues

Marjorie I'd imagine will be below Sterling, Lallana, Ibe, Coutinho, Milner in the pecking order for those attacking positions. The RWB spot would seem ideal for Milner if we play that as well so he is going to really struggle to get league starts. Will get Europa matches though.

Apparently they are after zings and Trippier and they would both be good signings for them but darth Levy is only bidding £12m for Ings so the the compensation fee goes up for Liverpool. Then they reckon that Burnley will give them a knock down on the trippier fee!

Agent Mino Raiola has confirmed to Sky Sports News that his player Mario Balotelli will stay at Liverpool this summer after talks with the club.

As he's not a player who seems to care too much about whether he is playing or not though I don't suppose it matters anyway.

I was thinking about that last night when I saw his little face. Do we still own him? Does this mean we are the most sucessful English team in Europe this season?

Still don't think Rodgers staying is a certainty.

FSG may have just leaked his position not being under threat just to stop speculation before they announce any decision.

We will know for certain in a week or so either way.
