Firmino looked excellent yesterday, kept dropping deep and going on mazey dribbles - hope he has a good season, love it when he's playing at his best
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yep.
I thought his form was patchy last season and he was capable of better. He played well yesterday.
Adrian will provide higher quality backup than the soon to be departing Mig.
Utd fans are happy Woodward has 'learned his lesson' about tempting players with huge wages, instead of being upset that Dybala didn't want to come to their club. Interesting mentality on display there it makes me think a lot and laugh also

That’s the way it goes!
If they’d agreed to his wage demands and signed him they’d be falling over themselves because a fantastic player wanted to sign for their club and the fact that he’d signed predominantly for the money wouldn’t matter.
Look at the way the Spurs fans are starting to turn on Eriksen.

Would like to see the best out of Bobby as he is such a good player to watch.
He was better towards the end of the season, think salah was underappreciated last season tbh

Mane was indeed the best of the three last season. He's the most clinical imo. Mo gets more chances and the lions share of the limelight, but Mane is more of a team player.

Agree with this. Opposition focus on Salah has provided opportunities for others and Mane has benefited.
Salah was our highest goal scorer, most creative forward and influenced games with goal scoring contributions that aren't measure by stats. He was our most consistent forward last season.

I watched all the games and thought Mane was the better player last season. This is no slight on Mo, but at times last year he was selfish at times. He is very single minded about scoring goals and this isn't a negative, but at times he needs to appreciate better positioned team mates.
We are incredibly lucky to have them both (plus Firmino obviously).

You’ve got to be selfish to score the amount of goals he has since his arrival here.
A few people down played Mane’s performances a few seasons ago when there’s really no need. As a front three there is going to be down turns & upturns in form from all 3.

I didn’t say he was messi, just that he’s the closest player I’ve seen to him with the way he plays.
Salah's most underrated asset is his strength on the ball.
He is ridiculously strong, the number of times you see him hold off players and turn them when they get too tight. Also, means defenders often miss their headers and he can get in behind.
Salah is a crossover between Messi, Robben and Duff
Think it's right that we don't give Salah the full credit he deserves, he's still our most productive forward.
Not sure if you would agree with this but in my mind, Salah has the strongest mentality in that he delivers most often and pushes the most, but Mane is still the most talented and skillful.

Mane's role is different to Mo's. Also, Mo played as a striker for a proportion of last season, and when he plays as a WF he doesn't have the same defensive responsibility as Mane has. Mo isn't expected to drop back when needed, Mane is.
Mane is as greedy as Salah? No, I'm sorry but this is plainly incorrect. I love Salah but this is the one area about his play which can at times can frustrate me. In some ways it's a positive as I said before, but you would have to be blind not to have noticed it.
Mane is better defensively than Salah for sure. I think it's sometimes why Trent appears much more exposed than Robertson does.
