It is annoying and it is usually kane that comes out with it. My worry is he is saying it so he can engineer a move away when we inevitably don't win anything.
The players talk this nonsense then freeze on the biggest stage of all when Liverpool just got the job done. This kind of interview is one of the few things that winds me up.

Completely agree. Still winds me up that CL final. All that hard work and luck we went through to get there, only to be subjected to the most pathetic Spurs like performance in our biggest game of all time. I would of taken it on the chin if Liverpool were outstanding and we couldn’t match them, but Liverpool were dogs**. Difference is Liverpool are winners, Spurs are a bunch of bottlers.

No, it's just been referred to some court. The Times say they have seen the court filing which includes the details of the Nike offer:
30 million Kit deal
20% net royalties on all merchandise sold
Serena Williams and Lebron james to promote the club.
Is 20% a lot?

Plus the sh!tty exchange rate where you only get 8/10th of a pond for every dollar.
So you gotta watch these yanks, 20% will be 1/6th less, so only 16.7%, then reduced by another 20% when converted into pounds.
Just like that, the Nike deal is only worth 13 %.
