Couldn’t care less about implications for United either.

Really doubt it would happen, and it would hollow, but would happily accept it, more for making a stand against the cheats than our own personal glory.

I very much doubt UEFA would have come out with this if they hadn’t made sure they were on completely secure ground.

I thought they might have let it lapse, I had totally forgotten about it though with the season we are having everything else was pretty oblivious.

Pretty sure the timing has been set so that Man City cant appeal to delay it through the start of next season ie they would have the appeal etc done and dusted before the start of the Euros.

Re-reading some news around it, it’s hilarious that Man City were trying to claim that the emails etc were hacked and or stolen so shouldn’t be considered..

Yeah I had thought about this. If City appeal and it is rejected, they will have points deducted next season. If they don't appeal they may have points deducted this season.

I genuinely have no idea which will way it go to be honest, think it’s very 50:50.

City are confident once the facts are laid bare it will get overturned and CAS do have history of overturning uefa verdicts.

On the flip side I’m undoubtedly confident that City have done some shady shiitt, it’s just whether the evidence Uefa have stacks up in court to prove it.

Reason UEFA have handed out a two year ban is because they know Man City will appeal it, and almost always CAS will make the punishment more lenient.

Expect the ban to be brought down to 1 year and 1 year suspended in case more evidence comes to light.
