It's not just that, can't just look for overt rule breaking.. sponserships are negotiated for the whole group, but go to Manchester city..

Is that factual?

They're not breaking FFP ffs

Have you even seen the numbers from the case that was so old it couldnt be prosecuted? £67m. Years ago. Not that it has anything to do with the Prem FFP.

Liverpool broke FFP and they let us off. We've been done for tapping up on more than one occasion, have been banned signing youth players because of our unscrupulous methods and by and large have a pretty iffy name in football in that regard.

Unless you've something actually concrete it just looks like whinging to me.

Yes and you know what, if I look at some of the fees Liverpool manage to bring in I am often left thinking 'How the af?'.

Not any more no. Why would it? I mean no one has actually managed to put anything forward have they? Any fees that are jumping out to you?

City's owners took over and football changed the rules to make it harder for them. Does that seem fair?

Also, I've done some googling and it seems we never failed FFP.

You can put some bollox about semantics in the bin as well before you start.

Let’s be honest, none of us know the real truth about what’s been going on at City. The CAS verdict didn’t prove a lot in my opinion, all it said that there wasn’t enough evidence to prove they had broken Uefa rules.

I think you’d have to be a real idiot to believe they have done everything by the book personally. Definitely a lot of dodgy shiitt going on there. It seems they have managed to cover it up sufficiently well.

Of course it's fair. City broke FFP rules, paid their players alone more money than the entire club could generate in revenue for three years and made an annual loss for something like 10 years in a row. After that they were able to artificially make themselves into what they are today, maybe they don't break rules anymore, but they can never escape how it all started.

As a result they win everything in England year after year for many years. That's pathetic.

Is that what football is about?

UEFA didn't let us off the hook like you claimed. They couldn't do sheet to us because we were in compliance with FFP rules. If they had tried anything we would have sued their pants off because their own rules allowed for these particular losses to occur. We also were not in playing in Europe in some of the relevant years.

Don't read the headline, read the substance.

I think theyve been heavily doped to get them to where they, so have we. I'd be amazed if having spent £24m on agent fees in a single season not long ago and had complaints about us tapping up that we do everything by the book though. I find the sanctimony and whinging nauseating personally.

The reality is that it's Pep and the squad he's put together that's going to make them so hard to overhaul. They don't even have that larger wage budget than us and make oodles more from prize money.

They were no great shakes before Pep was there, just got to do things better than them.

Riiiight so when City don't fail FFP that's different right? Because there's something nefarious that no one can find.

Give your head a wobble.

Fack me, is that what my comment means? You didn't read it well enough.

You're going wtf over Liverpool's sales but are not surprised by City's magical income and revenue over the years. Give your own head a wobble.

As said you can stick your semantics bollox in the bin.

Moaning about City is becoming soooooo boring. If you can provide some actual evidence of them breaking FFP any more than we do I'll happily read it. But you can't so...

Your link doesn't say or demonstrate that Liverpool failed or FFP. It just says FFP helped restore Liverpool. Liverpool never failed FFP of any kind as far as I can see. Do you have anything more definitive?

You can't even provide evidence of us breaking FFP mate.

Also, City have broken FFP much much worse than us, and been punished for it which is easy to do when we haven't actually broken FFP.

posted on 14/3/21

And stating facts isn't moaning. I don't begrudge City their success but trying to imply they are similar to Liverpool is a joke.

posted on 14/3/21

I dont give a fvck!

It was just an example of us skirting close to the very limit of the rules yet again. Have you seen why we got banned from signing certain youth players? How the club treated people?

The actual point is City are not breaking PL FFP.

There is a far bigger correlation between wages to league position than transfer spend and depending on what figures you look at City spent about £14m to £20m more than us. You telling me they haven't made that back from about the dozen trophies they've won? Pep is a great manager and he's put together a great squad with a young average age that has massive book value and performs on the pitch.

Pellegrini and Mancini not so much. Stop whinging.

"Uefa accept Liverpool's argument that costs of redeveloping Anfield and abandoned Stanley Park plan are mitigating circumstances, though Hull City are not so lucky"

The above quote is from he link you provided. Your link is about UEFA FFP. Now you're claiming you've been consistent about prem FFP. Then why the UEFA FFP link? Tryna change goalposts?

City's entire income was not enough to pay their playing staff alone for three years in a row. Should that be allowed?

Explains why they sweep all the trophies then.
