Why would we need to remove the Caicedo bid before bidding for Lavia and vice versa for Chelsea? makes no sense

Surely we could bid 111m for 30 players at once, means nothing until the players signed on the dotted line.

If we remove our bid then Chelsea will think they can drive the price down. Pretty obvious…..

Im only interested in who want to play for us, usually we do the legwork on that early. Mac10 being the recent case, tapped him up lovely.

So Chelsea have agreed a deal with Lavia but still no bid for Caicedo? This is interesting. Maybe they really are struggling.

That’s one interpretation. Another would be the club has received confirmation that he really doesn’t want to play for us, so there’s little point in continuing.

Not sure how much I trust Romano today as he's clearly being fed the info via Chelsea/Caicedo's agent.

Also Chelsea's bid for Lavia is reportedly £55m which makes no sense

We made them pay more, they make us pay more.

Then afterwards its round the back of the garage to see who can p*ss the highest.
