Yeah I was surprised that he has played more games in the back 4 than midfield. He is 5ft9 so ain't going to replace Konate or VVD and he's not left footed so can't replace Robbo so midfield it is.
Just due to lack of numbers he will start for us. Sat game probably too soon for him.

He wins 60% of aerial duels which is pretty impressive given his height so don't think playing at CB will be too much of an issue.
For context VVD is at 72% and Matip is at 55%.

Yeah, since this announcement, I've seen a few wrist slitting posts threatening suicide too.
In the last couple of weeks we've learnt that the club were working with Brighton on a Caicedo bid for weeks - press never got wind of it. And now a bid for someone that nobody had on their radar. The club are busy, it's just the media aren't getting the stories until late in the day.
With Endo, I wouldn't say I'm overly excited about the signing but the performance data looks good and he's an experienced player. I'm certainly very happy to see what he can do before slating him.
IF we make another signing in the CDM position and CB then I’m very happy about the Endo signing.
I think he’s a good signing either way but shouldn’t be the end of our summer business
