Haaland is now rumoured to have a stress fracture, Mitoma appears to have been dropped, Diaby dropped, Mbeumo injured for an unspecified period of time and Reece James appears to have become the 2023 Titus Bramble.

They should and will send the players there, still a job to be done but a chance for players like Szob, Nunez, Gakpo to find some form.

500k isn't much in the scheme of things though. If Salah plays and scores a harry we probably owe him nearly that in bonuses.

Hope we see a line up like this. We'll probably get battered but it's not worth risking any of the big names with all the fixtures piling up this month.

Feel sorry for James. Such a good player but perpetually injured. Reminds me of Rob Jones in that respect.

Interesting problem for England too. All the talk used to be about having 4 amazing right backs, but Trippier and Walker are starting to age, James is never available and Trent may end up moving into midfield. Wan-Bissaka probably can't believe his luck.

I'd be quite surprised to see a complete youth team and/or so many of the squad sat at home. It just doesn't seem to be the way Klopp likes to operate, he seems to like to keep the squad together and tight.

I'd guess at something like:

Kelleher
Gomez; Konate; Quansah; Tsimi
Grav; Endo; Jones
Doak; Gakpo; Elliott

I can imagine the likes of Diaz, Nunez, Szobo, Salah on the bench though. Bring Nunez on against tired legs, hopefully score and get a bit of confidence flowing.

Of course. Because the table is based on head 2 head for some (stoopid) reason.

If you look at points scored I should be in 2nd place. People with 100 points less than me, like you, are above me in the table because they're doing it H2H and I didn't get the luck of the draw.

Saying that I actually like the draft league. Everyone not having the same players adds some realism to it and makes it more competitive

In two minds about the Europa game. Can certainly see the benefit of resting players and getting minutes in others but also our passing and rhythm has been poor the last couple of games at least and it could be an opportunity to iron that out a bit.

No idea what he’ll do though, I’d guess fairly strong.
