Anyone who thinks Slot is perfectly happy to go into a job of this size, where the expectation is to fight on four fronts, with a squad of less than 25 players is desperately searching for excuses imo. It’s not like we can fill those players with youth now either, because they’ve been sold or loaned bar Nyoni, who plays in a position in which we’re well covered.

Throw in the contract situations for his three most established players and I severely doubt much of the above was on his wish list.

As an experienced manager he will know that going into a season with everything on point will never happen. No need for excuses. All clubs deal with sheet, I'm sure Feyenoord wasn't perfect, but the show must go on.

Just looking at all the possible angles tbh. I do think you’re being overly dramatical though. There seems to be a theme that if you’re not losing your shiite over the situation then that must mean you’re happy with everything. I guess it’s the ‘with us or against us’ mentality of social media.

I said United received praise on here and Kash said I lied so I proved it with a few comments. I made no reference to United's fortunes this season, but earlier on I pointed out they spend like 200m every summer and achieve little to nothing for all that outlay.

All I see from those comments is praise subject to something happening, which hasn’t even happened yet.

That's not all you see. If someone says they'll be angry if United sign Ugarte then it indicates a state of mind and in that respect it doesn't matter if United do or don't sign him ultimately.

So the daughter did really well in her GCSE’s, I converted the results on Google as the numbers mean feck all to an old schooler like me, and she got 7 A’s and 4 B’s. So I say pick anywhere you want and we’ll go out over the weekend, so we’re going to a really good Tapa’s restaurant in town. Wife books it and of all the options over a three day weekend she goes with 1630 today. Feckin anti football biaatch.
