Just odd but he’s an idiot so to be expected.

We had the selfish comments, then last week on Overlap he put Mo in 3rd place for contract renewal importance and now this. These are looking like agendas for me.

He said over the past 18 months.

I still think it's Mo over that timeframe but I don't think it's such an absurd opinion to have.

Lot's of rumours that Trent is rejecting all Liverpool contract offers, which tbh is quite unsurprising. I think he's 100% gone. I'd think about signing a RB in January if I were Slot, to embed them over the second half of the season. Bradley will obviously get a lot more game time but we need two.

Doubt the club will have three first choice RB’s on the books for half a season.

And what are the sources of these rumours? Everyone keeps posting stuff and begin with ‘The rumours are’, as if that makes it credible. Someone posted a link from a Nigerian website the other day FFS It seems a case of everyone believing everything they read on line atm.

I’m not disagreeing with the idea that Trent is off though, I’m beginning to lean that way myself now.

How do you know what we've offered will be way less than what they can get elsewhere?

Outside of the obvious City, PSG and Madrid, we pay players quite well. Mo is already on £350k a week before bonuses.

I am making assumptions. We are leaking "Contract offer has been made". If the offer was good then you don't need to leak information like that because it would have been accepted. My assumption is pretty much bang on.

Depends what you mean by sitting on our hands.

I'd be shocked if we don't resign both Salah and VVD.

Wouldn't even be mildly surprised if we don't sign anyone else though. Our last 2 January signing have been because the player looked to be going elsewhere - Gakpo to Utd and Diaz to Spurs. So unless a similar situation crops up, I doubt we'll do much business.
