Great effort by hull....thought they wld get tonked.......!!!

Apart from free kicks, grit and persistent fouling hull offered nothing. In fact they were awful not sure what game Tim sherwood was watching saying hull were dominating the midfield. Arsenal would have kicked themselves if they never won that game.
Arsenal had all the technicals on the pitch and once you narrowed the space hull could play in they gave the ball away as they lacked the technical ability to keep the ball.
Arsenal finally have the monkey of their backs. Our turn next year..COYS!!!!

It might spur us to do something. The reason I thought the winner would come earlier is everything was number 8 or derivations thereof. The first goal was 4 minutes, half of 8. The second was on 8 minutes. The third was 17, add 1 and 7. When 71 came I thought somebody must score and lo and behold 7 plus 1 is 8. So I thought 80 minutes or 88 or 91 but no, it came on 109. Number 16 scored the winner on the 17th and it's Wengers 8th or something. Hope you all ahve a good summer,it's time for cricket and tennis for me.

Yep certainly. 2-0 up after 8 minutes spelled the death sentence for Hull. Man U did it against them. I thought there was never any doubt as to who would win it.

To be fair about the 109th minute, 1 + 0 = 1 less 9 is minus 8.

The absolute value of minus 8 is 8.

Fair enough Dutch. Hull were going to lose even before the match started.

I posted at half time that Hull needed to score the next goal to win it but alas no. I thought the score was going to be 4-2. 4-2=8 and it very nearly was.
