I was worried earlier but now i am not worried about the joe cole stuff. Even Harry must know that hes now ****. couldnt even get into the liverpool side ahead of their kids. Furthermore Levy is not a mug. He wont shell out 3 mill for a player who we could have got last summer but who snubbed us. Especially considering that he is now a year older.

As for Modric to Man U for 20 mill. comedy isnt it. Double that and you MIGHT get us to the table.

I dont understand all this £20m lark either. Since when has Levy ever let anyone go on the cheap? Even players who went on strike, with just a year on their contract (Berbs) he stuck to his guns on a £30m transfer fee.

Modders wouldnt strike, even if he wanted to go he's got 4yrs left on his contract, its widely thought that he's Spurs' best player - so £20m is an absolute joke - even if it is what he's worth in the real world, Levy just wouldnt sanction it. Not a chance.

We buy Modric for £16.5m 3 years ago and after 3 years of development in the PL he improves as a top class midfielder being chased by the league champions to replace a certain Mr Scholes.

But the media/man utd/fergie think £20m (£3.5m profit/compensation) will do it?

Rumours start somewhere and the originator of the rumour likes to see it propagated. Who knows whether the media trawl the message boards or not - I do know that users of message boards trawl the media and propagate the rubbish that the media create.
