Jeez, now the scousers want a Brendan Vs Arsene debate. I don't think I can be bothered with that one tbh
----------------------------------------------------------------------
There is no Brendan vs Arsene debate. Arsene is the better manager, whether you view his entire history or just the recent ones.
I'm pretty sure everyone said and well done.
Have you become so paranoid and dejected after so many years without a trophy that you just post jealousy conspiracy threads just in case?
Compare their stats since Rodgers came to the prem then, or better still since he became Liverpool manager, make the comparison as fair as you want and Arsene still comes up trumps
------------------------
So in two years in charge at Liverpool , Arsenal have finished ahead of him once, and behind him once. Sound pretty even to me.

Tell me about it, scousers trying to convince themselves that they have the better manager based on 1 season. Where most would agree we've had the better season
You honestly couldnt make it up

It was actually an Arsenal fan who made the comparison first . All I said that was that you couldn't make a comparison given their age and experience.

Kaiser, I was actually expecting the Liverpool fans to be the worst but they have surprised me to say the least! The Chelsea fans though, it is not jealousy but something much worse. An attempt to belittle our win to cover up for their poor season.
To be fair, i haven't mentioned Liverpool fans in my post because they have been very kind indeed.
Spurs fans haven't been jealou much either. Only a bit wound up by what Wilshere did.
Chelsea and United fans though....
Kaiser, I was actually expecting the Liverpool fans to be the worst but they have surprised me to say the least!
-----
It's cos we have had a good season...
Chelsea fans? Well...When the sum
Stoke + Villa + Palace + Sunderland + Norwich = ONLY 3 points..
and their manager's words are rammed down his throat.. With he himself winning 0/5 trophies..
It is funny to see their ripostes.
Chelsea are really going all out to cover up Jose's monumental ££££ up this season
----------------------------------------------------------------------
That is my exact point, if your manager was Jose, i would accept you had a valid point.
But your manager is Rodgers and in his prem career he's finished ahead of Arsenal once
Whether you choose to accept it or not, the odds on him fishing ahead of Arsene again is very slim.
The numbers back this up
In conclusion i am happy because with Rodgers you are weaker than you would be with someone who is right for your club.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
What Rodgers has or hasn't done means nothing when I am saying that Arsenal would be stronger with another manager. It isn't hard. You can take Liverpool out of this all together because we could be bottom of the league, or champions and my opinion would be exactly the same.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Hence my intial response, if you had a better manager i can understand where u were coming from, but you dont
Its like an Aston Villa fan telling Liverpool fans that they are happy you stuck with Rodgers instead of getting a better manager.
Like the saying goes " People in glass houses, shouldnt throw stones"
And i would have said the same thing to another fan regardless of the team they support

The worst thing about that bunch is how they will swallow pretty much every bit garbage he will feed them. "Jose did great to get us to third without a striker" forgetting that he spent 100m on that squad.

Hello lads. Can we stop the Arsenal vs Liverpool fighting and just laugh at United and Chelsea? Cheers.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You really don't get it do you. Are opinions only relevant if you support a club that finishes above/has a better season than the club that you are talking about? I could support Cambridge and still say that Arsenal would be better off with another manager? Can I not say that the United defence is poor, because we conceded more goals than them? What a bizarre way of looking at things.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Oh i get it, but its very strange opinion. If your team is Cambridge, you laughing or suggesting Arsenal should have a better manager, after he won the FA cup, would be ludicrous
Dont you get that?
Its like an Arsenal fan saying im happy Suarez & Sturridge did well last season as it means Liverpool wont attempt to get better strikers
Would you honestly accept that as a valid point/opinion?

------------------
But I haven't mentioned Liverpool anywhere, so it isn't the same. Simply put, in my opinion Arsenal, if they got the right manager in, could be the very top club. I don't believe they will get there with Wenger.
We have the best manager we could have at this moment in time. I don't think anyone else, that you could argue is the next level, would come to us.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Let me get this right, you dont think theres any manager out there that can get Liverpool to the next level, but you clearly believe there's a manager that's available that can take Arsenal to the next level?!?!?
Are you serious?
But also what has my point below have to do with me being an Arsenal fan?
"im happy Suarez & Sturridge did well last season as it means Liverpool wont attempt to get better strikers"
the 'right' manager depends on the situation of the club

1st of all, you still haven't addressed my point about:
"im happy Suarez & Sturridge did well last season as it means Liverpool wont attempt to get better strikers"
Secondly, have you been living under a rock? Arsenal have had millions to spend for years? really!!
You've obviously chosen to forget that we had to pay for a new stadium and Arsene had to make a profit in the transfer market for the last few years.
But even if all you've said about Arsene is accurate, the fact that despite all this he's still managed to remain in the Top 4(which Liverpool fans are over the moon about) highlights just how incredible he is.
Everyone is entitled to an opinion, but criticizing Arsene makes no sense
Wtf has this turned into?
