Look I know he was a legend & all that with us when he played, but when you think about it what is his actual role in the club ?
I would not class Dom as a legend when he played for us.
Was never sure what his role was with us except fro drinking buddy of Haigh's
Dom's palling around with DH may have lead to his demise? What's happening to Haigh, is indeed, karma.
Played most his career with career with Liverpool and didn't win anything with Leeds, so not a legend in my eyes, no disrespect to him there either, I liked him as a Leeds player.
Matteo, Hunter, Clarke, Reaney, Lorrimer, Gray. Great players for us but how much have we been paying them?
Any I've missed?
Let's get a couple of them back when we go up!
Matteo - legend? No chance.
What did Matteo ever do for us?
🎶Scored a fkking great goal🎶
Matteo's allegiance to Leeds United has been laudable but he's not a legend. Probably played a part in helping to forge a link between the club and supporters from more recent generations.
We can't afford to carry anyone in these here lean times. I'm sure Matteo has other good revenue streams so he'll not go hungry.
I'm told Cellino is lining up Jonty as his replacement in an attempt to reach out to two more supporters......

Not a legend but abit of a cult hero
Abit like peter haddock and and hughes
Now Norman I would keep on! Great legend for us and a lovely man. Always says hello to any Leeds fan and is excellent company and loves the club.
For me they can get shut of Clarke and Reaney. Great players but not my cup of tea off the pitch.
Eddie I love but his radio commentaries really grate on me , y'know
What did Matteo actually do?
Interesting point though. My neighbour, who has two season tickets in the Nicki Chapman Suite, is gutted they are all leaving. He loves his chats with Norman and the others and is considering not renewing. His wife was telling me yesterday that it makes the whole day more enjoyable.
Stoopo ......... I understand your neighbours frustrations, and hope they do renew. The club is going through a transition for me, looks like it has to get worse before getting better.
I'd agree about Norman H. MC would be foolish to completely rip the soul out of the club. Cut it back, reduce the wage bill, but don't completely strip out what makes fans turn up.
He'll fuel the dissenters if he does that .........
To be fair to your neighbour if he isn't renewing because of nice chats with an ex player before the game then I don't know why he bothers going in the first place.
If people aren't going to get a season ticket because a few ex players aren't going to be there to speak to them, they are ar s eholes.
Just shows there level of support and to be honest would rather self obsessed wa n kers like that not bother coming
opinions are like ar s eholes ev
Yeah and some are more of sh I t than others
Gelderd & liw
That's exactly what i said (didn't work though)

Harrogate
Am afraid the world is full of people like that
Sheldon
Everyone goes to enjoy the experience
But if the deal breaker is not getting a five minute chat off someone, they don't really care about the club but there self importance
Yeah I get that - a 5 minute chat from an ex-player wouldn't be my deal breaker either ................ in fact there's a few of those ex-pro's that I've made it a mission to avoid (i'm not into the ar(s)e kissing stuff).
Each to their own I guess .... ?
Now come on LIW, Haddock was a true legend. Name me one other footballer who had his name called out every time he touched the ball. Fisssshhhhhhhhh.
One Vincent Jones seemed get the chants I recall......
