If you think that was his best performance you must have only ever seen him play once. He was well known long before that for replacing Diego (who was one of the best around at the time) at Bremen

The best thing about Ozil is we all know he's best is yet to come. And i honestly cant wait.

Hopefully the OP is right, I used to love Ozil as a player but he seriously underwhelmed me last season.

I'd like to see him back to his form 2/3 years ago.

I think he cruised it with the world cup coming up..especially given Germanys chances for lifting the cup

There are people on here who seem to genuinely believe a team like Real Madrid would buy Mesut Özil on the back of ONE game, and a game v England of all teams.
