People praise Sagna and they are Ok with him going to City yet lay into Nasri

Do not wonder

Sagna was with us during tough times, gave us his best years and now he is approaching the end of his career os going for the money.

Nasri was still developing. Hadn't even reached his peak yet but thought he was too big for us

He'd be a bit of an idiot not to turn that down tbh. Think he wants to play CB more, he wouldn't get that at Arsenal.

There's another side of me that hoped he loved the club enough to retire here. Guess it shows you can't put your faith in footballers anymore.

sagna has to save up for his pension and this is it.

Unlike RVP and Nasri, leaves on good terms with the fans.

Anyone think Richards would be a good singing to replace Sagna? With him and Jenkinson competing for the starting place?

Fk no. Richards is injury prone, and was never that good to begin with.

Richards is not a footballer anymore. Have you seen how fat he is nowadays?

Sagna is arguably the best defensive right back in Europe. City have got a real player there. I'm guessing he's going to be playing left back because he's capable playing there or removing Demechilles from starting XI.

Richards is out of practice, out of form, when was the last time he played, no way do we go for him, need a relatively young energetic fb who enjoys going forward

Has anyone seen this Calum Chambers kid play for Southampton? We were linked with him.

Top defender and an excellent cross on him.
Superb looking missus.
I look at him and immediately think clippers.
Cover like him will be the reason why we win the PL again.
Thank you very very much.

On the plus side for you - Wenger's track record with full backs is not bad at all.
Cole, Lauren, Sagna and Gibbs all top drawer.

Quality talent, not the level of shaw but a balanced fb, good in both departments

They can give us Aguerro and Yaya Toure

I agree, personally i'd take Dzeko, Negredo, or Jovetic & That's being realistic

I hope Wenger signs a more attacking full back as a replacement, Sagna's great but he doesn't offer as much going forward as other right backs do

I've been impressed the few times I've watched Chambers. But is he ready to be a regular? It would be a major step-up.

I tell you something.

You were 7 points off the title without Walcott, Ozil, Wilshere and Ramsey.
Walcott alone will score 20 goals next season which will bring you an extra 10 points.

I have you down as our number one threat.

Yes, of course best wishes for Sagna. He's been a great player for us, on the field and off.
Just wish A) he had retired with us - been a long time since a proper testimonial, or B) that he had gone abroad, maybe back to France.

Possibly if they'd changed from the failure specialist to a better manager like Allardyce or AVB
Not a realistic threat

Paul

They put away the 'lesser' teams which is no mean feat.
They are going to get Draxler and a striker.
Walcott will be back.
Ozil second season.
Confidence from the FA Cup.
And no more blindly allowing 'top' teams to counter attack them.

All spells trouble to me.
