Benzema is younger and I think there is more to come from him.

Cavani is older and I think he's shown everything there is to offer.

Cavani is safer, Benzema is more exciting.

Out of the 2 it is cavani easily but I would go for Balotelli

Both falter to deceive but I rather go for Benzema of the two.

I'm happy for the club to decide as long as:
1. They do the deal early
2. Its a top striker and not another young player that has to be developed (we cant wait that long)

But what will probably happen is they'll wait until the shop window of the world cup has finished, get involved in and lose bidding wars for all the decent players and get somone who is a level or two below the best. But even this is better than getting Sanogoal on a free as an unproven player from a lower league.

One thing about Arsenal is they dont tend to like disruptive players at the club any more and Adebarndoor was a real problem. Balotelli could turn out to be an issue as well so may upset the rest of the team. But then a lot of strikers have a real ego problem.

I'd say Mandzukic is a better option for the focal point. Honestly I only see us adding more goal threat from the wide left position. Arsene has shown his hand 3 times already, with the suarez and draxler links.

Don't expect a world class ST signing when we've already got a good enough one. Replace podolski with a 20 goal/season wide man (Hello Vela), and we can focus on getting squad depth bodies in in other positions.

Cavani would be the perfect striker for us, him and Balotelli would be my top 2 choices.

Cavani is 1 year older than Bezema, hardly a contribution in anybody's decision to chose one.

Cavani is easily the better striker and isn't a big game bottler like Benzema.

We will get neither, though.

It would be incredible if we signed either one of these players, but for the sake of pace, I'm gonna say Cavani. But I would be happy with Benzema too.

Wenger clearly stated that difference between City/Liverpool and us this season was firepower up front. I think he is well aware that we need a quick striker of world-class/potential world-class proportions. Last summer he tried to sign Suarez, Higuain and Demba Ba. There is nothing to suggest that he would have changed his mind.

Everyone bar Messi, Ronaldo and Bale is.

They have 75% tax in Drance so we can offer less wages and he gets the same money, it's still unrealistic but Wenger loves him so there is hope!

Benzema is better

Out of the two I'd slightly prefer Cavani but either would be great and a significant statement of intent.

I've seen Benzema spray the ball wide to an advancing Cristiano, and arrive in time to tap in the resultant cross. He's staggeringly fast when he wants to.

Gillespie Road's right, Benzema is capable of being extremely quick.

Benzema is the better footballer. But Cavani would probably be more devastating for us.
We need his speed and physical prowess up front.

Think Benz could work beautifully with Walcott out on the right and another fast runner on the left.
