The Championship just got harder with Wolves, Brentford, Rotherham, Norwich, Cardiff and. Fulham joining.

I predict that teams will start to find you out a bit more and know your players. Play-offs again.

Wolves may have a decent season but I'm certainly not worried about Brentford or rotherham

what you reckon that 6 are better than the 6 that have left...the 3 going up are better than the 3 coming down. Wolves and Brentford will improve the league but Rotherham? no better than Barnsley or Doncaster...

That's would everyone thinks until your youngsters try to pass on Rotherham's pitch on a rainy Tuesday night.

Little point practicing corners per se when we have a team with the same height as the Filipino national team... We need to play them short, draw the oppo out and put it in to feet rather than float them in for the keeper or defenders to mop up.

Set pieces have been garbage all season and Ward shouldn't be let near one unless it's to run over it as a ruse.

Not sure subs were too off kilter: Peabo made some telling runs, Dawkins was at least as useful as Ward but I'd say Russell was unlucky to get the hook. Bamford looked petulant when he made it on, disinterested even, and he can clear off back to Chelsea or wherever he came from.

Welcome, btw

You do know Rotherham have a shiny new ground?

I take your point Pundit but because of loans it won't be exactly the same team. We might also lose a couple if the right offers come in.

With regard to other teams finding us out this didn't stop Leicester from walking away with the championship this year and there were no big changes to their set up last summer.

At this moment in time I don't even want to think about play offs again. Great if you win them horrible for the other 3 teams.

I think I proved the other night that there are no such things as omens.

Good article though, I think we will do well and I can't wait for Saturdays again.

Rotherham's pitch will be 1 of the best in the championship. Charlton's is the worse and we won there 2 nil....Theres no team I fear next year....no bigger team than us either.

Cheers for the welcome 666

Take your point about the subs, I didn't complain at the time it's just on reflection. Bamford too little too late although I guess Steve was saving him for extra time.

Hughes did look knackered when he went off, poss should've started with Peabo. Russell definitely unlucky to get taken off.

Why didn't we try the short corner yesterday, from memory I don't think we did. It could've led to a shot from the edge of the area a la Ben Davis v Leeds a couple of seasons back (although I think that might have been played straight to him on the edge of the area)

I think someone else may have said on another post but since Coldplay scored v Bournemouth he's not been near a free kick that's within shooting distance.

Welcome IVI. Not worried 1 iota about any side next season. Want Wisdom and Thorne sorted...and I don't think im on my own in that, Bamford im not fussed about as he is apparently becoming Chelsea's 3rd striker until he has a cup of coffee. But I think we are in for a nice surprise this summer. McClaren will have players lined up to add to this lovely lot we have. Gutted still and that will stay with me for a while yet...but...when August comes Derby will be ready more than ever.

Pundit,

Seriously are you expecting us to take that assessment without question. Wolves are a half decent side but will still have to significantly improve if they are to worry half of the current championship.

The three relegated teams regardless of parachute payments are already in huge disarray, add to this FFP and this will just add to their difficulties.

I can't take seriously your comments about the three teams promoted being of serious concern to our abilities next season. You state teams working us out, what exactly will they have worked out? The fact we have the highest pass completion ratio in the division and the we play fast attacking football, that's hardly a secret we've been playing it all season all that's changed under SMc is we refined our overall performance.

I am grateful for your concern but I'm fairly sure even with the dross joining the league we will still be in with a great chance of auto promotion.

don't think we have a free kick for a right footer since Bournemouth...

Corners frustrate me. His subs...no problem apart from Dawkins....I hope he goes in the summer...

Wolves??? On the strength of winning div 1??
Do you think by the same logic Leicester will be top 6 premiership next season?? I think you will find the Championship standard a little higher than Div 1.

I've watched quite a few Wolves games this season and that's quite a statement will look forward to seeing that

Think Wolves might have a shock once there in the Championship it's quite league one by quite a stretch

We already know people in Derby have bad judgement, we now have Michael Jacobs, who is better than your wingers.

Wolves are the best team to every grace League One. With a record points total that bettered the back-to-back promotions of Norwich and Southampton.

Think we should break the bank (still won't be much ) to keep Thorne, new manager at WBA, maybe he'd take the money. Reckon we might have a chance to keep Wisdom and Bamford too, unless their clubs want them to be farmed out in the Premiership. There is a recognition that they are being coached by one of the best to play the right way.

Wicklow. I hope you are right. Thorne is top quality. Wisdom isn't ready for the Pool yet and bambam nnot ready for chelsea.
I can see Bamford going though but Mason Bennett deserves a chance.

Jacobs is better than your wingers that's the funniest thing on here today. That's why we let you lot have him.

Like I say seen enough Wolves games this season to be pretty certain you won't be near the top six. You may have the points record but statistics show the leagues quality has significantly dropped since both those teams were promoted.

Will looked forward to your thoughts once Wolves are actually playing championship football
