lukaku wont be first choice striker
Is that because Costa is looking more likely to stay in Madrid?
He will be a waste of money.

I really don't know. Would have liked Cavani.
i imagine that would be costly
Lukaku has scored more goals than Messi and Ronaldo did by the age of 21. He is going to be unplayable within 3 years.
You made the mistake with Sturridge but don't seem to be learning with Lukaku.
they played in harder leagues aswell...
You are going to be playing Lukaku in a few years time so you may aswell be including him in the first team so he gets to that level quicker
Is that off the back of seeing him score a hat-trick against the almighty Luxembourg?

Costa is already a Chelsea player and Courtois is coming back
No its not coming off his performance against the might luxemborg,im not saying that lukaku should be our first choice striker next season but im just saying i'd much rather have him then costa, most people will disagree with me but i dont think costa brings anything new or special to the table

Spanish paper claiming Costa wants to break the pre contract he signed with us.

Any links Gazza?
Sounds like the usual media BS to me.
I would love Costa at Chelsea. Will fit perfectly into our system and will score goals.

Wouldn't say Costa is the perfect striker for our system but definitely a much more accomplished skill set to that of Lukaku.
Costa fits the bill more than any other striker about. And why can't we have Costa and Lukaku, and another?
I don't understand this idea that we go into the season with only one top striker.
Gazza I speak Spanish and had a quick scan through the El Confidencial article.
Looks like something and nothing to me. Costa will be a Chelsea player next season, I'm sure of it.
The Spanish media are equally capable of spinning BS as their British counterparts.
At the end of the day Atletico are not a rich club and they will find it very difficult to turn down the £32 million we're giving them for Costa.

Who would you say is perfect for our system cmf and what system are we thinking of for next season?
"Costa fits the bill more than any other striker about."
Beg to differ, would say that Cavani and Lewandowski are better suited.
Lewandowski for his ability to be able to play with his back to goal + brings others into play in compact spaces and a better poacher
Cavani for his defensive contribution, work ethic and has vastly better movement in and around the box.
Very capable at working the channels/flanks too.
However, both are unobtainable in the market.

The above.
"what system are we thinking of for next season?"
The approach is to recover the ball high up the pitch vigorously out of possession and exploit space in possession(which was displayed in most matches for the first half of the season, rather than the passive system in the 2nd half of the season)
Stop teams playing out from the back, force them into mistakes.
We'll go back to trying to play possession football rather counter next season with fullbacks advancing past the halfway line in support of the attackers.
