Aurier, Clyne, Coleman, Jung, Uchida, Juanfran, Piszczek etc. There are many replacements out there, we just need to find the correct one.

Jenko!

It's gonna be a tricky one if we do find a replacement especially for Jenko if he's around the same age then Jenkinson might consider his options (just a thought) unless he's happy to be a squad player. I do like the player but I feel he can be a bit hit & miss at times.

How about De Sciglio? a versatile defender that can cover left back as well

Jenkinson would stay if he was 8th choice.

With his recent England call-up, Jenko should have enough games in pre-season to be in firing form by August.

I thought he had already gone tbh.

Jenks is not ready yet. He will be an obvious weakest link if he starts.

I think whoever we get Jenks has to stay and fight for his place. There are a few sub 25 year old right backs that could mature into the role but also provide solid competition and depth to our squad. Sagna was far too expensive to what he actually brings to the squad.

Yes, but IF this is true.....

I hope sagna gets run over by the Shi ttys team bus

Well that same source says Schweinesteiger could be available for £10M, I think that would be a deal worth doing

Rafail or Fabio.

Aurier is our replacement. The deal is done. Time to move on from Bacary and I for one am actually excited about seeing Serge and Jenko battling it out for that starting spot as two very talented young full-backs!

I'm with you Rambo, time to move on and soon enough people will forget of him. He was a good signing initially but the injuries took their toll and he was not getting any younger or better which is something we can look forward to happening in the right back berth from next season

I thought Jenkinson was the next Cafu

posted on 28/5/14

The Cafu comparisons were with Flanagan.
Jenkinson is going to be better than Cafu when he actually gets a run in the team.

Have people completely forgot how good he was the other season before Sagna got brought back from injury and everyone was complaining about Jenko getting dropped as at the time Bacary was playing poor?!

You thought I was serious

I hoped you were joking

He is going to be a top quality RB if given time and people allow him to develop and make the odd mistake without crucifying him, however to label him better than Cafu at this stage of his career would be idiotic and the type of thing I would expect from a Liverpool fan!
