I was only 8 but can remember it. Was sat in front of the tv (colour lol) wearing my Forest bobble hat and scarf
Waggy, envy you! Sounds like you guys had an amazing time
Swift - was 10 and had to put up with the ire of my Liverpool supporting big brother!
Yep red exe it was brilliant went to the club in ruddington on the sunday dinner and at 5 pm we was on a train to amsterdam for a week , the red 6 , tell you what, what a wife I have shes in derby at the mo bless her half term sitting
It must have been brilliant Waggy. Such special times, and to be part of it must have been fantastic. I feel very lucky just to have it happen in my lifetime.
Sadly they'll be no more fairytales like this. Money talks now
Them were the days RedExe when Liverpool used to hate us. How times change eh? Lol
Both days were hot.. unlike Amsterdam which was effin cold. The train to Munich was an experience no one on that train will ever forget. Arriving at Munich station blowing our horns at the same time the station masters were do theirs. Resulting in trains moving before they should
The farmers on the way back waving their pitchforks at us. Throwing stones into the Massey Ferguson dumper trucks whilst we waited for our train on the way their.
Those were the days my friend, I thought they'd never end... those were the days ... oh yes, those were the days.
We've been to Europe and won the cup twice

Ring pulls pulled . Quality wind up. I would loved to have seen their faces.
They had some weird big dogs in tow. They were a cross between a Poodle and a rottweiler and the same eight as an Alsatian. Nasty buggers they were. Loved my mates jeans. Tried to eat them
