I think i am right in saying that the rev was actually there that day...... Amazing to think the opinons of those who saw events first hand a less valued than that of a bunch of plastics who couldnt point Anfield out on a map

Gagged into silence, you might as well be banned

UEFA should be held responsible for holding a game in a ground that at the time was not fit for 3rd Division football in england

The state of the ground and security, well lack of stewards etc led to this.

At the end of the day, this site is a commercial venture and unfortunately the majority hold sway; it's not a crusade or a human rights forum, and clearly Admins just want to avoid the aggro that opening up this can of worms inevitably brings.

Best it's just not mentioned, especially by Rev, or if we just stick to condolences to the families and friends of the deceased and let blame be apportioned by others.

It isn't right, it isn't just, but then that isn't the remit of 606 and nobody is forced to either post here, nor is it a 'right' to post here. I know that's harsh, but it is what it is.

brilliant!

Let's get a campaign up for the 3 that were jailed. They didn't mean to start anything. In fact whilst we are at it, why don't Forest and Norwich put a claim in along with some other teams unfortunately stopped from playing in Europe due to no fault of their own.

Must be someone else's fault. Let's blame Eufa

So not playing in Europe is the main driver here?

Or the fact that a ground was used that was not fit to hold a sunday league game?
