I will take that day to my grave with me. Just to be part of it and witness one of the greatest teams this country has ever known. It wasn't just about the Cup finals and beating Europe's best. We were a good league side too.... 42 games unbeaten whilst jogging round europe and not going out of the domestic cups until the later rounds if we didn't actually win them. We were the best and we were the team to beat.

Probably even more amazing than the 42 game league run in some ways was that between the Leeds defeat and the Liverpool defeat we also played something like 8 League Cup games, 6 FA Cup games Four European Cup games and the Charity Shield and we only lost one of them. WBA in the FA Cup Quater final.
