Tbh I kinda surprised you scousers aren't seeing the funny side of your club's 'link' to Cesc.
Funny how the world famous scouse wit suddenly desserts you when the jokes on you.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Funny how most of you hated him when he left Arsenal, and have now started the love in again....

It's a typo, they named Pedro twice in the headline but he's there in the article
In fairness though it hurt at the time, when Cesc left us, the club was in such a mess most Gooners didn't really have a problem with him, as we knew it was coming a season or so in advance anyway. The youngest - and loudest - among us may have slagged him off, but most of us were more understanding.
He may well not return to Arsenal, but the idea that Liverpool are better placed to sign him is, quite frankly, beyond laughable.

Then explain why Arsenal are so much more of an attractive proposition than us. Just because he's played for you already? I'm not saying he will join us, he probably won't, but if we declared a real interest in him there's no reason why we won't have just as much chance as Arsenal. It depends who can convince him....

better team, better fans, better stadium, London, richer and just superior in general.
One word, terminator...
Arsenewenger.
"but if we declared a real interest in him there's no reason why we won't have just as much chance as Arsenal. "
The scousers getting second place has really raised their opinion of themselves.

Keep taking the medication The table doesn't lie, and the fact Cesc knows Arsenal inside out means there's no blagging him and goes against you....

Of course it has. We'll have a higher opinion of the club after finish second as opposed to seventh, as will any potential signings. It's not rocket science

To levels that are higher than your usual delusion levels of course. What exactly in 8bits comment is so laughable? Pretty much spot on.
Thank god Liverpool didn't win the league. This forum would have been unbearable.
They finished above us for the first time since 2009 and suddenly they are a better option than us!
Liverpool not winning the league is just evidence that there is indeed a God!

Have you seen the comments between them and the Spurs fans? The only reason Lallana would join Spurs instead of them is because they will be willing to pay over the odds. The same way Willian chose them over the mighty Liverpool.
Stale Arsenal and their lack of ambition.
-------------------------------------
And how exactly have Liverpool shown ambition? By spunking tonnes of money on English dross? Give us a break RAP.
that's not why he left anyway RAP

look how freaked out the g.o.o.n.i.e.s are a mere mention of us and Cesc and they're out in force doing their very best to quash our hopes
I doubt we even want him anyway he's a grotty little disrespectful toad.
In that decade we have built and paid for the best stadium in England while you are still stuck in the shïthole that is Anfield. If that is not ambition, I don't know what is.
Come on RAP, I know you love a WUM, but you can't possibly be suggesting the Arsenal that Cesc left in 2011 is comparable to the Arsenal of 2014?
