I think people have been a bit quick to write Spurs off this year.
Arsenal have weakened substantially and Liverpool think they've strengthened and perhaps they have to an extent but they're not CL quality players.
Spurs have a good squad that have been playing together for a while and more or less the same squad that got 4th last year. If you get Adebayor back to Arsenal form then you've got one hell of a player.
Who knows whether Modric will stay or not, but I fancy Spurs to exceed most people's expectations this year.

Even if you guys manage to assemble that line up, I still think your side will lack 2 things:
1). A consistent defensive line up (too many injury prone and question marks over Walker/Ekotto)
2). More importantly, that winning mentality. The mentality that gets you 3pts in tough games like we manage to do time and time again

mate. you will not find a spurs fan with a bad word to say about ekotto.. he is absolute class he really is. strange that noone outside of spurs really rates him. he has been our most consistent player for two seasons.

I feel he's too flashy for a left back. Tries to play his way out of trouble and positionally a bit unreliable. Having said that, I guess the same could be said of our Rafael and Fabio.
I just feel you guys need a more solid base. Your CB defensive partnership keeps changing and Im still a bit unsure over Gomes
Off you high horses spuds, That is an AVERAGE attacking force. Lennon can't cross. Adebayour isn't much better than crouch. Bale is inconsistent and VDV is alright.

I'm so depressed that the side I love and who I once thought was at the very least level with Tottenham has gone so far backwards whilst Tottenham continue to get stronger and compete with the big boys. You have one hell of a side and I only wish our stupid board would take note and try to follow your example.
