Some of his opponents leave a lot to be desired, but,he would be too good for any of our heavyweights, and maybe even for Vladimir !

Joshua would knock him out

Leaves his chin high and is far too open

Why is he not calling out Vlad? Truth is Vlad will with his style will stay away from that big right and out jab him with a late K.O.

Kamran, what do you mean , chin problems ?

Who told you that ?

I've got eyes. Seen videos of him getting doing the chicken in the amateurs, against a smaller guy, plus he's already been down as a pro despite fighting nothing but bums (that happens though, can't make too much of that).

doing the chicken dance*

I take your point mate, but I reckon that he is the next real champion .I fancy him against Vlad ,who himself doesn't like a wallop on the chops !The next black American world heavyweight champion .

Check out Ali Raymi, 20 fights 20 wins 20 KOs all in the first round and all against unbeaten fighters.

It is not just the numbers, it is who you fight.

I guess this point could be made for any heavyweight at the moment but fighting Vlad is a bit of a no-lose situation for Wilder.

Win and it's a change of the guard and you're top of the tree.

Lose and you chalk it up to experience safe in the knowledge that Vlad will be retired soon enough and you can fight it out with the likes of Pulev and Fury to be the new man.

It's not as if a defeat will put you out of the picture because the division just doesn't seem to have the strength in depth for that to happen.

Yeah but he fights guys that are literally dragged from the street, not a joke literally they get them in the ring from the streets about 30mins before the fights, abit different

like Wilder will ever fight Vlad Klitschko.

You got jokes

$$$$$$$$$$$ my friend .

Padded record and a few American prospects have now tried to bide their time before facing a Klitschko for the same reason D Wilder has.

I kinda get the feeling there are others in the division doing the same as Wilder and just trying to wait it out, they can't fight forever...can they?

Come on then lads ,Wilder v Fury ! what
do you think ?

Getting a pasting from Vlad probably isn't in Wilders career plans.

I think he would lose to Fury or Chisora.

Has Fury got a chin? Could he really take a shot from a KO specialist?

Joshua finishes them all by KO

you have to be careful 31 fights sounds allot whn you think of groves' 21st fight was the second froch fight but it isnt much for an american who was fighting every few months at the start in short round fights, but hes got power for sure.

There was that other black american guy who used to be a linebacker not sure if he was in nfl but college football, he got a knee injury and couldnt play football anymore so got into boxing, sean williams maybe??? Anyway he looked like a real prospect at one point but hes not making any waves now really, that can hapen with american pospects at heavyweight.

Its like joshua hes had nice steady fights, no one who was ever realistically going to cause him problems, he was 1/200 on to just win the last fight! But hopefully the opponents get steadily better, really excited about him but i also thought david price might go far at one point so.......

listen

Wilder is legit - he's developed a jab, obviously has huge KO power, and who cares if his chin is suspect? If he can land he can win. He's got the physical gifts to become a HOFer if he continues to improve

posted on 13/6/14

Aye but what use is that power of the guy in front of him is smarter than him and can avoid/block the punches?

Then Wilder's defence comes into question.

And he has NO defence. Just a high chinny chin chin
