I confuse myself with these drafts, they have so many little variations.

Personally prefer a random order/snake.

We should all arrange a date for a mock draft in a few weeks.

ddfp, i dont think having a mock draft against each other would be beneficial.

this is because it will go one of 2 ways:
1- everyone will take it seriously like its their proper draft and go for their primary options as they would. this gives an indication what round the person will wait for a player and then on the actual draft, someone will reach up and get him, or with a different draft order will pick him with the previous pick

2- noone takes it seriously, intentionally not giving away their primary targets so we get kickers going first round, rookies second and third, defences 4th and the studs will drop to 13/14/15th rounds

For me I always make mistakes take players too soon, one selection causing another 2 players to be missed.

But I can see your point completely.
