Frazier Campbell set to sign.....

There are only 2 reasons I can think of:
1. He wouldn't have signed without such a clause being included.
2. They were sure they'd stay up, having dominated the Championship so comfortably the previous season, so never thought the clause would come into effect.

It hasn't half backfired though

800k is a cracking deal. Just hope he his better than the last Campbell

When i see Campbell wanted by City, it sends shivers down my spine, and all i can think off is that waste of space we had a few years ago.
We all know now why he was offside so much, hope he gets what he deserves.

Can't help but wonder whether a similar clause will be inserted again! But at £800K, not bad at all. Didn't we try £9M for Maynard once

I posted the following on another thread, but so late that I doubt if anyone read it, so please excuse the repost:

"Six Premiership goals (and four assists BTW) may not sound a huge amount, but to be fair it's not a bad return when playing in a team as rank as that one was. Only he, Mutch, Whittingham and Caulker pulled anything like their weight in that side. At 800k would be a snip, IMO."

I've not read anywhere that he's "set to sign" though?

I read 2 or 3 articles (2 from Wales) on the newsnow leicester website.
One actually said he was in Leicester today for final talks.

If Nige/Walshy think he's worth getting that's OK with me!

It would be a relegation release clause.
