Ramsey has left Wilshere for dead!

Ramsey's instant turn around should tell you not to write anyone off. Wilshere can stay fit and reach somewhere near that level instantly if he focussed. Let's support both and be happy they're both here

"Jack for me has been overrated by the media and fans over the years"

Jack was never overrated. In his first season in the first team he was absolutely brilliant!

He is just struggling with form and fitness at the moment. Once he gets back on form, he will be brilliant again.

He was never brilliant. Let's not get overboard.

He had a few decent games at the start of his career and the fact that he is English and everyone went crazy.

Like I said, I'm warming to him now but can he do what Ramsey has done. Does his game have it in him to make the dramatic change?

I don't believe Jack was over rated. When he started playing regularly with fabregas and song he was outstanding. he just couldn't carry that form on and spent too long living of that reputation. Injuries haven't helped him but as we've seen with Ramsey, there's always room for a massive turn around especially for these young players. So yes at the moment ramseys over taken him but don't write wilshere off just yet!

Btw, how good is Ramsey?? Best player at our club bar none, love him more than life itself!

Yes easily it does. Jack is a top talent. His acceleration, ability to dribble in tight spaces, he maintains the tempo well with one-twos etc.. He's different from Ramsey so don't judge him on goals.

He can control games from deep-lying and has a good engine. Wenger's decision to keep faith in him and Ozil and refusing Cesc will be the making of them I believe, gotta be some logic behind considering how much Arsene loved Cesc I'm starting to trust the decision a bit more now

Wilshere is one of the most naturally gifted players going (yes, honestly)...

But his injury issues have seriously blighted him. He seems VERY fragile and unless he manages to stay fit for a prolonged period of time he will NEVER fulfil his massive potential.

He has it in his locker to be a top level player, but time will tell with him. I don't doubt his ability or his mentality, but I do doubt his physical state.

Disgraceful by Ramsey.

NEVER LEAVE A MAN BEHIND!!

Injuries have halted wilshere's progress like it did with ramsey, people forget that he just needs time

Constant niggling injuries will have an effect on anyone's form. There were also rumoured off the field problems but I'm not sure how much of that (if any) is true. What I do know is that a fit and focused Wilshere could still be a top top player for Arsenal. The talent is there

That is nonsense! You are perceiving the whole situation from the lens of "every young English player that has a decent few games gets overrated." Wilshere was actually outstanding from deep. Brought the ball out of the defence really well, held it well and sprayed it brilliantly to the more attacking players around him. Tactically, he was excellent too.

Just wants something to moan about Wumpatrol

If he watched his debut season you'll remember that the hype was justified and the Barca game epitomised it all.

Wilshere is still take baby steps in footballing terms he will be immense in next couple of years. lets be patient with our stars no more booooooing please.

Whilshire will never be the player Ramsey will be, Ramsey is a humble lad who just wants to get on with playing football, Jack loves himself and the idea that he's a great player, he's not a great player though and should be allot better now then he actually is.

Ramsey is great though

Oh do shut up. He was excellent in his first full season: Arsenal player of the season, PFA young player of the year, PFA team of the year. Those of us who actually watch matches know that it wasn't just a "few decent games".

God you're fúcking annoying. Why do you even support a football team? Are you one of those people who just have to have something to moan about?

Jack is living off 20 good mins v Barca years ago

Overrated doesn't even begin to describe him

posted on 13/6/14

He's only overrated because he is an english arsenal player, would be a world-class talent if he was italian or something

posted on 13/6/14

When Ramsey was a year and a half into hos rehabilitation all the idiots wanted him sold, now theyve turned on Jack at the same stage. I think Jack has shown signs of getting back to where he was and we will have 2 world class cms for years to come.

Castor - are you telling me you didn't criticise Ramsey at all during his barren time at arsenal?

Wilshere is great. His name sounds very English but not in a bad way like Higgenbothom or Dewsbury.

Ramsey's a top player. But he's not our best player. Don't be stupid.
That honour belongs to Ozil then closely followed by Cazorla.
