5-0.

Mind the gap.

Guess the converse would be to splash the cash and spend .... say £9 million?
At least we know that would guarantee promotion...
Well the play-offs then....
Well top 10 surely ... ?

One of the barometers I use to check out if someone is an idiot is if they use expressions like "wake up and smell the coffee", particularly as I only drink tea.

When you go to buy anything which is not a fixed price is to have a starting offer to test the waters before haggling begins. That way you don't end up by paying £2.5M for goal shy strikers like Simon Cox.

We need to be careful with our money as Derby's transfer budget is earned in the right way and doesn't depend on the largesse of the spoilt brat son of a refrigerator saleman.

We hardly spent any cash last season. But we beat your king Billy's side, and how much did he and the other managers spend on all that dross you brought in, with a 5-0 hammering?

And you honestly think we bid 4mil for McCormack

Spartacus you lot don't have an opening offer, they'll offer well below anyone else and you suckers then value the player at your boards top offer

You know this then do you fatuous? We have £3M from Wembley receipts plus a team capable of challenging for promotion so the board can look to spen more. What do Forest have, Mr fridge the bedouin tweeter.

You only have money if GSE decide to invest in the team Bret Wilson was all coke a hoop about derby when he thought you might make him 200 million dollars where is he now? Invisible again next time you hear from him will be if you get promoted or win the play-offs. Then you'll se no investment again

Agreed.

Lads, what England would do now for a Mark Wright and Des Walker in defence?
We have lost the art of defending (since I retired from the game)

John Terry should have gone and as Captain.

Welbeck, serious lads, England have better.

Weak yes man at the helm doesn't help.

Fatuous, you only have debts, massive debts as well and FFP is coming. What are the debts for? To pay the wages of the pile of pooh signed by Forest. Fawaz would have been better off buying lottery tickets. At least he would have a chance of winning something.

NFFC,
Is there any way we can find your address or phone number? I think the DCFC management team would be glad to have access to your wisdom on football matters. You could advise us on how to invest unlimited £ millions to create a team capable of finishing - now. where was it you finished? Oh yes!! Mid table I think.

Well there must be some value in finishing at such a high position. And - by the way! Will you be having any FFP problems next season?

But I realise the competition for your services will be great so it's possible we cannot afford you and will just have to rely on the team we already have.

You'd have to be released from you're section first.

And Fawaz has done nothing but throw money down the drain, and made NFFC a laughing stock

Must be a little frustrating for you, though. Thorne was all important the other week. Time is ticking and pre-season starts soon. Think the change of management at WBA may have scuppered you?

Has you new temporary manager come back from his holidays and started trying to clear the mess left by Billy Boy?

It took us years to sort thing out, we even had to hire a non league chap to help. When we are in the premier I'll always look down to your position to see if you are improving, best of luck.

No, your ambitions matched your investment. Best of luck on your Prem "dream"...
