Just need another right-back who we can play behind him to defend in our 12 man formation.
He will add to our offence no doubt, he needs not to worry defending coz Theo and him will kill teams going forward.
Prefer to get someone with more experience and not just 1 good season in the French league,
Another nail in the coffin of British football.........average french speaking african better than any British product shocker!!
He isn't that far from Lauren, he is the best young option in the market for a long time. He has great technique and is two footed unlike Sagna, he resembles a young Alvez but with a body of a boxer, welcome to Arsenal Serge.

Only Welsh have better footballers so why even bother with British under-coached average players.
Koscielny came from ligue 2 and that turned out well..

Agreed. Our domestic development programmes are poorly conceived and executed !
what happened to the bright youngs hope you had....gibbs and Jenkinson was it?
I just think its all quite amusing, two days ago everyone is banging on about British footballers development, and then here we are cheering another average signing, the reality is the glory hunter crew only care about their club these days.
AW tends to target players based on their ability rather than their passport details.
Aurier looks a perfect candidate to replace Sagna and for circa £10m. Shaw has been valued at three times that.

Yeah i saw two that got away yesterday, Djourou and Senderos
I thought Jenkinson was highly rated by Arsenal fans, is he not ready to step up?
Jenks lacks the defensive know-how to be a starter for us right now. Especially replacing someone like Sagna who was one of the best defensive full-backs around.

Shame from an English perspective - the RB spot is definitely up for grabs.
Great if true. Big fan of the Serge.

Nothing wrong with Jenko, we just need another rb incase of injuries which will happen. Only an idiot will go into a season with 1 RB.
Let them both fight it out I say.

Gibbs is still number 1,
I would like an older player so that Jenks can take over, he just needs consistent games. He's pretty much a good crosser of the ball, better than Sagna was anyway.
Wenger does prefer British players these days as they are more loyal, Aurier will likely leave in a few seasons anyway, hopefully Jenks will be ready by then.
Cinciwolf: Gibbs is our left back and 1st choice. We do have a few brits you know. Gibbs, Jenkinson, OX, Wilshere, Walcott and Ramsey........
As for Jenkinson, a bit of rivalry will progress him. Sagna was too good for him to displace. Aurier will give him a chance to prove he is ready.....
Aurier can also play wide right, and at CB so if deal done can offer some versatility.
Great, now we just need a striker, a DM, a GK, more CB cover, etc.
