The arrogant pric!

I knew that was on the cards yesterday when he left Leeds.

Versatile experienced defender 👌

Definitely inclined to agree with LV on this one. He thought he was the business when he left us for Leicester and now he's back. Apparently we pipped Forest to his signature which should suggest we've signed a very good player, but in truth I'd rather he'd gone there.

Wethers...I did see it yesterday albeit recorded. Can't understand it. Our lack of mental toughness is astounding. At least they played well the days I was there, I'd have been well p-ssed off had I paid money to watch that shambles yesterday afternoon.

I think Peltier will be s good addition, he only left us to get championship football, which he still has, now for a centre back, midfield general, forward! As for the test match.... Cook will get slated, rightly so.... as for his batting form......

Pelts eh. Prime time age, good before but out of favour in the past (at L**ds) for ?
A start anyway. Still need an awesome CB, midfield general too. Not so sure up front, 3 enough ? My take would be spend biggest on the midfield talkative general who can organise, galvanise and chip in with a few goals. What do you think chaps ?

Jeez, so quiet on here !

We don't need a midfield general...we already have Oliver 'Zidane' Norwood

Who's the third striker? When Vaughan is injured which will happen, who will partner Wells? Yes to a midfield general.

You got the cricket on Wethers???

Yep! unlucky in the end.

Felt for Jimmy. 0 from 55! Ali is a good addition to the side. Can swing the bat and for a so called part time spinner he can actually get some decent turn.

posted on 24/6/14

Jimmy got all emotional at the presentation too. As for Ali, a batsman... possibly,,spinner no way! Monty needs grabbing by the balls and get back in the team.

posted on 24/6/14

Not saying Ali should be used as a full time spinner, god no, but he does get plenty of drift and big revolutions on the ball. He'd be able to do a good job as a second spinner on some of those subcontinent wickets.

I don't want Panesar near the side again. The bloke is a whopper.

Its comparable to darts
Virtually no physical effort yet a sport?

Don't yawn at me non-believer

Virtually no physical effort? I'd love to see you after a 10 over spell of fast bowling...

People who call cricket boring are even worse than those who describe football as "22 blokes kicking a pig around a field"

posted on 24/6/14

Waltz.... if your bored then let's talk football, cos not msny are on here this close season... Champers, that's why test cricket rules, and is the best form.

Absolutely mate. I won't even watch T20 anymore. Can hack the occasional international ODI but I hate how pyjama cricket is attempting to suck the life out of the sport for the sake of a few dollars.

posted on 24/6/14

Don't watch t20, not cricket, don't mind a one day game, at least players can play themselves in and play a proper innings. Ask any player if they would swap a test century or a five for a few daft slogs at rounders.... the answer is there, shame it was only a 2 test series, only the aussies and South Africa deserve a five test series.... India the bullies of world cricket.

Ah...India. The guy's who still refuse to allow DRS to be used

The Indian fans on here are the sole reason I rarely venture onto the cricket board. Nothing worse than trying to discuss England's fortunes and having some feckin Indian stick his feckin nose into affairs. They think they know everything there is to know

I agree champers, I did venture on there, vented my spleen, a lot of England fans agreed with what I said...

Just heard that Clayton is signing for Watford after his hols. 💩

posted on 25/6/14

Where you hear that hydy?

For what it would cost to replace him surely we are better off getting another year off him and let him go on a free

posted on 25/6/14

Watford are no bigger than Town,?

A friend of my sisters, who are very good friends with Clayton.
