No, and i wouldnt even say 3rd. He falls in the same bracket at the moment as the Robbens, Riberys etc. Very very good player and i would have him at CFC in a heart beat, is the exact type of striker we need atm.
The 3 bottom placed teams in the PL conceded 27 more goals than the 3 bottom placed teams in La Liga.
Here's how i view Saurez, had we had him our team last season, we'd have won the league.
In the absence of a time machine to go get a prime Drogba or even JFH, then i'd be like a dog with 2 whatsnames if we had Saurez in our team.
As I said soldado came to the premier league with an impressive goalscoring record, but has been hopeless in the premier league.
Which in itself makes a mockery of the idea its easier to score in the premier league, than la liga.

I dont think anyone has even said its easier to score in the PL. You brought it up that La Liga has dross defences. I just posted goals conceded stats that show their defences are no different than the ones over here.
Somebody did indeed say it was easier.
As for your stat, it doesn't really prove anything, unless you know who these goals were, or were not conceded against.
It could simply prove the teams in the lower reaches of the premier league are more competitive between each other, than they are in Italy.
A better, and much simpler comparison shows a player scoring over 25 goals in one country, and struggling like hell in another.
Either way, in answer to the question posed by the op, Suarez is at the moment on a par with both Ronaldo, and Messi.
He's done it from day one in the premier league, and if he does it for two season, some will say let him do it for 3, then it'll be 4, and so on.
He consistently does it on the club, and national stage, so not sure what more he can do.
Suarez is 27 has 220 career goals at club level in 363 games.
Messi is 26 has 365 in 457.
Ronaldo is 29/30 has 375 in 569
The vast majority of Ronaldo and Messi goals have been in a top league and the CL, not true of Suarez. He has 80 (less than two seasons work for the other two) in his time with Liverpool, he would have needed to score about 115 to be considered.
Suarez just had his best ever season as a player and Messi probably had his worst, Messi still scored 10 more goals than him.
Its so clear, to me any way, that Suarez will never join the Messi and Ronaldo brackets because he is simply already way too far behind with no time to do it.
To be honest I also think the above clearly demonstrates that Messi is in a class of his own.
Fack me I take all that back. Something psychologically wrong with Suarez.
Great player but you can't bite other players.
Don't see how he can be allowed to play another game in this tournament now.
Been woeful football wise Aswell today
Suarez will always be the best taster in any restaurant.
Ronaldo has outshone Messi for the last 2 seasons and only United haters deny that. It was a travesty that he didn't win it last year.
Just shows how long and vibrant a great United player lasts as opposed to any other club, check the posts for any player leaving a top club and only ex United get the guff and nonsense.
How had Ronaldo outshone for 2 years. It was only last season when messi was injured. Think messi had more goals year before despite less games and barca won the league. Go figure

Brummie trust me to create an article praising Suarez just a few hours before he disgraces himself with this third biting incident.
His post match comments show that he has no remorse whatsoever.
Thank feck we never brought the cheating little to rag to Chelsea.
I haven't seen his post match comments yet Superb, I'm duty today and only just caught the 2nd half of the England game. What was his excuse?
Brummie he apparently said that "stuff happens" in relation to the incident.
Hopefully he gets banned from international football for a very long time.

Well he's right - stuff does happen when he's on your shoulder
When it comes to biting opponents, Suarez is second to none!
