...and to be honest the OP knew exactly what he was doing selecting the title of this article.
Fair play French....
Suarez is a fruitcake, but it's reassuring that at least one United supporter can see the OP for what it is.
I think as match going/football fans in general, not many of us can say with 100% honesty that we've never partaken of a chant or gesture or dig that we might not be very proud of.
I see 10 yr old kids at Old Trafford singing Build a bonfire or Always the victims.. they have absolutely no idea what it means but nobody corrects them.
It's very difficult to stay composed as a football fan when you watch your team take a beating at home off a rival such as City or/AND () Liverpool..
That being said, I guarantee that 99.9% of fans guilty of such behavior in a stadium would be nothing but respectful in any other circumstance.
French I take your point and agree. However every club has idiot fans in the minority. I'm sure people who use that jibe on here know what they are doing however.
Darren that was no insult its factual.

Is their a funnier sight than a scouse wriggling and twisting over another incident of appalling behaviour by sewerez.
Rawk meltdown is quality.

"Only TKT seems to have that attitude so far from what I have seen"
you wot?
I haven't backed him at all. I called him insane, probably unfixable and think a severe ban is in order.

You misunderstood
I meant you were the only one I have seen with the attitude of laying into Suarez bigtime, not the other way around

To be honest - whether it's a minority or a majority - in my experience it is more about point scoring and far less about genuine malice (in most cases).
For example, the murderers and victims chants were sang by the vast majority of the home crowd when you spanked us at OT this season.
Personally, I genuinely believe that it is more about trying to wind up the opposition fans than it is about offending the dead.
I appreciate that I might appear to be making excuses for it - though I don't mean to say that it's right - but, for instance, when I admittedly have been caught up in the moment when fackin Dossena scores a world in an OT thrashing and joined in with the 'Always the Victims' in my mind it has been about winding Liverpool fans up rather than engaging my brain to think why this would wind Liverpool fans up.. I think that more recently that chant has been used more in relation to Suarez, but anyone saying that that is the sole meaning of the chant is living in cloud cuckoo land. The origins of that chant are sinister, just like the MUNICH songs and Airplane gestures.
I think i'm just rambling now... but I hope i've got some sort of point across without appearing disrespectful.. If i have come across disrespectfully then i apologise.
And on that note, i think i'll leave this article because i can just see it going on forever until someone gets banned and i don't wanna be here when that happens
But I do still want him at Liverpool
These things don't bother me, just serve the ban and get back to scoring
